✨ SPACE TO BE ✨ “My silence, like the ether, passes through everything, carrying the songs of earth, atoms, and stars into the infinite expanse of the Universe.” ✨ In yoga philosophy and Ayurveda, Akasha — ether — is the element of space. The space that holds everything. The pause between movements, the stillness between breaths, the quiet that allows us to listen more deeply. This week, create a little more space, tune in, soften the noise and reconnect with the subtle rhythms of body, breath and being. 🌙 WEDNESDAY | YIN with CAT KABIRA - slow down, turn inward and explore the quiet spaces within. 🔔 FRIDAY | AETHER: SOUND, INTENTION & INNER STILLNESS - Join Lyndi Sales for a unique opportunity to pause, receive and reconnect. ✨ 🌿 SUNDAY | YIN & NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION | 6PM - new class with Kasia Pikula-Noble ✨ AND ALL OUR REGULAR WEEKLY CLASSES✨ From energising flows to grounding Yin, strengthening practices to moments of stillness, there are so many ways to nourish yourself at Ananda. NAIL RITUALS with Nadege : Book your mani, pedi or massage Wednesdays and Saturdays Come as often as you like. Try something new. Explore different teachers, practices and therapies. Every class offers another opportunity to reconnect with yourself. Breathe into the gaps.
Listen to the silence.

🌿 WHAT IF YOUR BODY COULD BECOME A PLACE OF BELONGING? A place where you feel safe to breathe, soften, strengthen, feel and simply be. “Yoga is a practice of self-discovery, acceptance, and empowerment, where each pose and each breath brings you closer to a renewed sense of safety, peace, and inner power.”
— Ola Radka How are you feeling in your body today? What feels tight, hard, sore or tender?
Where do you feel open?
Where might you be longing for a little more space, softness or care? Yoga gives us a way to listen. Through breath, movement, meditation and mindful awareness, we can begin to reconnect with our bodies and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging, trust and safety within ourselves. Because safety matters.
Feeling at home in our bodies matters.
And when we feel more grounded and connected, we create more space to experience the fullness of life. Yoga can be a gentle practice of reclaiming the body — learning to listen to its boundaries, honour its needs, soften where we can and find strength where we need it. This week, stretch into possibility.
Open space in your heart for healing.
Make room for what is beautiful, nurturing, nourishing and wholesome.
And gently release what no longer serves you. 🤍 Monday 7am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Lee-Ann 6pm VINYASA SLOW BURN 🔥 | Lindsey ✨ Tuesday 7am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Zee 4.45pm AERIAL | Brittany 6pm HOT 26 🔥| Brittany ✨ Wednesday 7am POWER VINYASA (hot) 🔥| Brittany 9am STRENGTHEN & SCULPT | Nurit 9am - 12pm KIDS AERIAL YOGA HOLIDAY SCHOOL | Michelle 6pm YIN | Lindsey 8am - 5pm NAIL RITUALS | Mani’s/Pedis | Nadege ✨ Thursday 7am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Zee 9am - 12pm KIDS AERIAL YOGA HOLIDAY SCHOOL | Michelle 12.30pm GENTLE | Francisca 6pm HOT 26 🔥| Nisreen ✨ Friday 7am PILATES (hot) 🔥 | Catherine 9am VINYASA FLOW | Nisreen 9am - 12pm KIDS AERIAL YOGA HOLIDAY SCHOOL | Michelle 5pm LUNA VINYASA | Sarah ✨ Saturday 9am VINYASA | Khanya 11am HOT (hot) 🔥 | Brittany 12pm RIPPLE MOVEMENT METHOD SERIES | Brittany 8am - 5pm NAIL RITUALS | Manis/Pedis | Nadege ✨ Sunday 10am SLOW FLOW | Lindsey 11.30am AERIAL | Lee-Ann

I originally injured my should pushing a teammate at the Old Mutual wealth DC in ‘24 and continued to train on it for IRONMAN 2025. Since then I’d just resigned that this is how my shoulder was going to be going forward, the most breath taking pain if I twisted my shoulder wrong (even when sleeping when I lay on my right side), any form of power and internal rotation had me folded over in agony. I was asked if I want to do IRONMAN MB next year and at first I was skeptical, but decided to see if the @flexbeamsa Red light therapy would help my shoulder recover. Within a week of using it every day I cautiously attempted my first swim (it’s the first strava post on slide 4), and was so excited to only experience a touch of pain when I misaligned my stroke so n my fist stroke back. Since then I’ve been back in the pool various times, stronger, faster and more confident and felt min pain. I’m even able to do most of the demos needed when teaching yoga and Pilates classes, for the first time in 18 months! Full disclosure, I’ve added 10min daily FLEXBEAM as an aid combined with my daily mobility and strengthening exercises - which I’d been doing since the injury first occurred. I personally think the combo of red light, strength and mobility is the winning combo 👌

✨ THE WEEK AHEAD | FIND YOUR LIGHTNESS ✨ In a world that can feel unbearably heavy, can we still make space for joy? Not by ignoring the weight we carry.
Not by turning away from suffering.
But by remembering that rest, play, connection, and joy are also part of what keeps us human. This week at Ananda Sanctuary, let your practice be a little more playful. Move, breathe, explore, laugh when you wobble, and reconnect with the simple joy of being in your body. “The soul is here for its own joy. Let your yoga practice be a playful celebration of that joy.”
— Inspired by Rumi “Yoga is the perfect opportunity to be curious about who you are. Play on the mat, laugh when you fall, and carry that lightness into the world.”
— Unknown Our asana may be light, but our intention remains strong. We practice so that we can become more grounded, resilient, and present—not only for ourselves, but for one another. We make space for joy so that we have the strength to keep showing up, caring, connecting, and standing in solidarity with those experiencing hardship. 🌿 Move with freedom.
🤍 Make space for joy.
✨ Play, breathe, connect.
🕊️ Let your practice strengthen your capacity to care. Come to class this week. Bring your whole self—the heavy parts, the hopeful parts, and the playful parts too. We can hold the heaviness and still choose to dance. Our practice is rooted in a vision of a more just and compassionate world, where all beings can live with dignity, freedom, and belonging. Let’s flow together. 🤍 Monday 7am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Lee-Ann 6pm VINYASA SLOW BURN 🔥 | Lindsey ✨ Tuesday 7am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Zee No evening classes - private event ✨ Wednesday 7am POWER VINYASA (hot) 🔥| Brittany 9am STRENGTHEN & SCULPT | Nurit 6pm YIN | Lindsey ✨ Thursday 9am VINYASA (hot) 🔥 | Nisreen 11am - 1pm ANCESTORS, EARTH, ROOTS 7 BREATH | Khanya ✨ Friday 9am VINYASA FLOW | Nisreen ✨ Saturday 9am VINYASA | Khanya 11am HOT (hot) 🔥 | Brittany ✨ Sunday 10am SLOW FLOW | Lindsey 11.30am AERIAL | Lee-Ann

✨ THE WEEK AHEAD | TRUST. OPEN. RISE. ✨ Feeling stuck, afraid to try something new, or convinced backbends aren’t for you? Come to Ananda Sanctuary and find your brave with us. 🤍 This week, we explore trust — in our bodies, our breath, our strength and ourselves. Backbends invite us to open, move into the unfamiliar and meet vulnerability with curiosity. Beyond the shape is a deeper practice: turning inward, breathing through resistance and discovering what becomes possible when we trust ourselves enough to explore. As B.K.S. Iyengar reminds us, backbends can make us “more introspective and less of an exhibitionist.” So this week: 🌿 Trust your body 🤍 Meet fear with curiosity ✨ Step into the unknown 💨 Let your breath guide you 🔥 Rise into your strength Whether you’re trying a backbend for the first time or simply learning to open your heart a little more, there is space for you here. Come to class. Bring your courage. Bring your curiosity. Bring your whole heart. Together, we’ll find our brave. ✨ SLOW DOWN. TUNE IN. COME HOME TO YOURSELF. ✨ Not able to properly relax?
Unable to sleep deeply?
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, disoriented, or alone?
Feeling as though you’re constantly switched on? In a world filled with noise, demands, and uncertainty, sometimes the most important thing we can do is pause. Place your hand on your heart.
Take a breath.
Feel your connection to your True Self. 🤍 When we are deeply connected to ourselves, we can navigate life’s chaos and challenges with greater awareness, steadiness, and compassion. Through the practice of yoga, we learn to develop a deeper relationship with our body, breath, and inner world. As we quiet the busy mind, we create space for calm. As we move with awareness, we begin to listen. As we breathe deeply, we reconnect. Your mat can become a place to: 🌿 Slow down.
🤍 Cultivate awareness.
💨 Tune into your breath.
✨ Feel deeply.
🕊️ Come home to yourself. You don’t need to have all the answers. Sometimes, you simply need to pause long enough to hear yourself again. Join us at Ananda Sanctuary and give yourself the space to reconnect, restore, and find calm amidst the chaos.
