Nothing in this world could prepare me for the gushing visceral bittersweet experience back in London (and the UK) after almost a year away...

What a ride. What a pilgrimage.

How deeply grateful I am to have such grief over such beauty, such love - you all know who you are🤍✨ Tagged or not, seen or not (we'll be back!)

In community, the medicine of dance multiplies 🌟

At Dance The Medicine, we offer trainings for those called to lead, DJ, and hold space on conscious dance floors around the world.

We’re here to empower a global network of movers and change-makers—people sharing their own unique embodiment as medicine and sharing the transformational power of dance for healing and connection.

🎧 If you hold the dream of sharing music as a DJ but don’t know where to start- Join us in Italy from June 22-28 for our next Ecstatic DJ School. We will share a life changing week of music, movement, and mastery in the art of conscious dance DJing and set creation.

Let’s change the world together, one dance floor at a time 🌟

Whether in the heart of Portugal or live online from wherever you are, our Dance the Medicine Facilitator Training offers you the tools to deeply meet your unique embodiment as a guide. The deeper you can go on your journey of self-embodiment, the more potent the space you will be able to hold, both on and off the dance floor.

What sets this training apart?

It’s not just about teaching you skills and techniques- it’s about supporting you to explore your unique embodiment and how to bring that into your offering as a facilitator. You’ll learn how to hold space for others by connecting to your own authentic expression, intuition, and leadership.

This world needs us to be exactly who we are and bring it to everything we do! That’s why embodiment work is so essential to making real change, which can spark from being in our bodies, in community, on the dance floor.

Our proven curriculum is designed to support the integration of proven somatic tools with your existing skill set, while helping develop the skills to facilitate transformative dance experiences. Whether you are someone who just loves to dance, or are a wellness professional, DJ, yoga teacher, breathwork guide, or a psychologist, this training can support you exactly where you are at 🌱

If you’re ready to facilitate healing through movement, these programs will provide you with the framework to share dance as medicine. Join us in 2025—whether in person in Portugal or online—to embark on this journey of liberation, connection, and transformation.

If finances are a barrier to participating, please know we have scholarship opportunities for both trainings, as well as pricing for Portuguese Nationals for our in-person training in May. Message us for more information!

Comment “ready” and we will connect with you personally to take the next steps 🌀

A collaborative happening LIVE at @paradhisfestival at @yoga_in_the_stars and Friends. Joining the festival Mina, Güte with Clay Play Move @clay.play.move @minaberesford @gute.immelman. Explore the embodiment of clay through tactile awareness. Reach unknown or forgotten creative parts of you. Be in union with nature and embody clay, the earth element, as you befriend your body. We will forage clay from the surrounding lands of Kernow. We will meditate with it, discover it’s different states and interact with it. Sensing it’s playful, as well as grounding forces. The group will be guided through movement exploration with clay as the metaphor for expression as we journey to new places. Mina is a ceramic artist, a yoga teacher and dance and movement facilitator. She has experience facilitating movement spaces ranging from young people to adults and with all abilities including ranges of neurodivergent young people. Yoga and art teacher, Güte, will co-facilitate. Children and adults are both welcome,12 years plus. Join us in embracing the art of connecting, feeling and letting go. You can also catch Güte and Mina at late night collaborative happenings around the camp fire and in the forests or co-facilitating yoga sessions with other collaborators.
