A bonefish fight from his side of the water. Blue sky above, turquoise water below and a lightning bar of silver in between. Now I understand why my reel screams like that. Mangrove Cay, Bahamas with the great @moxeydencil

Big school of Andros bonefish holding on a flat. Two lemon sharks in them the whole time. Slid in, put a gotcha clouser fly into them and hooked up. Wild to watch it all from above.

Thanks to @moxeydencil for always putting me on a lot of fish.

Incredible bonefishing trip to Swain’s Cay Lodge in Mangrove Cay, Bahamas—hosted by Orvis and Tom Rosenbauer.

Trip started with a little chaos… our van caught fire on the way from the airport (video says it all). Everyone jumped out, grabbed bags, and thankfully no one was hurt.

From there, it turned into an unforgettable week on the flats chasing bonefish in crystal-clear water.

8 of us showed up as strangers and left as friends.

Great fishing, great people, and a trip I won’t forget.
