BOMBAY HIGH COURT’S FIRECRACKER BAN, RULES APPLY TO EVERYONE!

Complaints have been filed over the bursting of multiple aerial fireworks (skyshots) during DJ Chetas’ event in Mira-Bhayandar on October 25, 2026.

The incident has raised questions about compliance with the Bombay High Court’s directions restricting the bursting of firecrackers on public streets and roads throughout the year.

Organising an event on private land does not automatically exempt it from applicable legal restrictions. The authorities must examine the circumstances, verify the permissions and determine whether any violation occurred.

⚖️ When complaints are filed over alleged violations of a High Court order, will the authorities investigate and take appropriate action?

Who Will Stand Up to Protect Nature?

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj inspired us with the values of Swarajya (self-rule), courage, and love for our land.

Today, protecting our forests, rivers, and wildlife is our responsibility too.

Development is necessary—but should it come at the cost of nature?

Decisions regarding environmental clearances, forest land, and tree felling related to the Saidongar-1 project must be presented transparently before the public.

Our intention is not to accuse anyone without evidence. We demand transparency, accountability, and the protection of nature.

What is your opinion? Share your views respectfully in the comments and help spread awareness.

🚨 THIS IS NOT A CONSTRUCTION SITE. THIS IS OUR MANGROVE FOREST. 🌿💔

🧱 Construction waste
📦 Hardware fitting packaging
🛍️ Thousands of plastic wrappers
🗑️ Fully packed garbage bags
🛏️ Even discarded mattresses!

This is what we discovered inside our mangroves during Week 323 of our Mangroves Cleanup Drive.

Our mangroves are not dumping grounds. Our oceans are not garbage bins. 🌊

❓ Who is responsible for this improper waste disposal?
❓ Where is the accountability?
❓ Why is waste that should be properly managed ending up in our fragile ecosystems?

Despite the dangerous conditions, 45 dedicated volunteers came together and removed approximately 1 TONNE of waste! 💪💚

But cleanups alone cannot solve this problem. We need waste segregation at source, responsible disposal, and urgent action from the authorities.

🌱 WANT TO BE A PART OF THE CHANGE?

Every Sunday, we come together to protect our mangroves and keep our creeks clean. 🌊🌿

🙌 Join our Mangrove Soldiers
💚 Volunteer with Environment Life Foundation

🌱 “A Cleaner Patan Begins with Awareness, Responsibility and Collective Action.”

♻️ “Cleanliness is Not Just a Practice — It is a Habit We Must Build for Future Generations.”

📍 Patan, Satara District | Swachh Survekshan Awareness Initiative

As part of the ongoing Swachh Survekshan initiative, the team of ORNET Technologies Pvt. Ltd. successfully conducted a series of cleanliness awareness workshops and public engagement activities across Patan town in Satara district, Maharashtra.

These awareness programmes were organised at schools, bus stands, marketplaces, vegetable markets, municipal premises and other public locations, with the objective of promoting scientific waste management, environmental responsibility and sustainable cleanliness practices among citizens.

Through interactive workshops, practical demonstrations and direct public communication, students and citizens were educated about the importance of four-category waste segregation, proper disposal of different types of waste, and responsible waste management at the source.

Special emphasis was placed on converting wet waste into useful organic compost, encouraging households to adopt environmentally sustainable practices. Citizens were also sensitised to the harmful effects of plastic pollution and encouraged to avoid single-use plastics, reduce plastic consumption and maintain cleanliness in public spaces.

🎓 Building Cleanliness Habits from an Early Age

One of the most meaningful aspects of this initiative was the active participation of school students. By introducing children to the principles of cleanliness, waste segregation and environmental conservation at an early age, the programme aimed to develop responsible habits that can positively influence families and communities.

Educating children about cleanliness today is an investment in a cleaner, healthier and more responsible India tomorrow. 🇮🇳

The enthusiastic participation of citizens, students and local stakeholders reflected the importance of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities in strengthening public awareness and encouraging long-term behavioural change.
