This past weekend, the Brothers of the Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. had a great time participating in Jacksonville Run Club’s Greek Run. They had a great time pushing their pace through the streets of downtown and networking with people amongst the community.

It was the end of a decade, but the start of an age✨🦋
Thank you all so much for all of the birthday wishes!! I had the time of my life celebrating my 30th trip around the sun with my incredible students and work family - I am so grateful for everything my 20s gave me, but this era feels like it’ll be the best one yet🩵

(swipe to see the reality of turning 30, lol how did we get here????)

Orientation season number 3 is officially in the books ya’ll — 3,700+ students, 5 cases of Alani Nu, and 1 incredible team🫶🏼

I’ve found myself at a loss for words (shocking, I know LOL) — but what I will say is this: I am profoundly grateful to share this experience with my team of students and professional staff. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and so much love, I have never experienced a workplace that feels so much like home. It’s my greatest hope that our new students felt that same love during their time with us this summer, and I cannot be more thankful for the insanely hard work that our team has put in to make our new Baby Ospreys feel at home too!! Counting down the days until Summer number 4!!!

SWOOP🦅🩵✨

The last day of the Financial Literacy for Creatives & Entrepreneurs is completed.
.
We discussed Personal, Business Credit, Accounting & Tax Loopholes.

I’m grateful we were able to create the opportunity to discuss these topics on the @sunyoldwestbury campus. When I was attending college, business credit, entrepreneurship, taxes & business funding weren't presented to us to learn more about. Imagine if Entrepreneurship was an actual field of study in college. The trajectory of our students, communities and lives would drastically shift. Hence the reason God helped us pull this off for college students aspiring to create ways of ownership for themselves.

I remember when my mentor in college said something that stuck with me. He said, “In D3-D2 Universities they teach students how to get a job, in IVY league schools they teach them how to create a job.” Ever since then, my mind has been focused on creating opportunities, spaces, and communities of growth through learning about entrepreneurship and economic loopholes that push us forward. It’s only right. With that being said I want to thank our speakers @businessbybrandon & @_princeabu for creating an insightful presentation for the students and participating in our program.
.
This was good. We have more coming in the future stay tuned.
