It’s just a riiiiddddddeeee!

Inspired by my first @cyclone_musical watch back in January, I went back in July with the my own version of the set! Thank you to both of the casts and musicians on each run for their fantastic performances and very kind words!

Four countries, one band. 🇨🇳🇺🇸🇮🇹

EDWARD: SHANGHAI TO TORINO

Rock’s least likely hero. Conservatory-trained Shakespearean actor turned rock singer.

• Born State-side, living in Shanghai's leafy French Concession — where grumpy阿姨s water plants over cobblestone sidewalks; and the best espresso in China hides behind a bike repair shop in Xuhui.

• Recruited for SAGE during a Torino garage lockdown (2022) by Bart, “the evil genius” who’s 40% chaos, 60% genius, 0% remorse.

Cue existential crisis: Who should we interview next? 🧵💬

Third prize, Malmö Piano Competition. Vic Nees Composition Competition. Flanders Symphony Orchestra. A lifetime of Mozart and Chopin.

Now meet Richie in a bathtub, using a body scrub brush as a mic.

SAGE keyboardist. Swedish. Composer. Introvert. Absolute weapon.

Four countries, one band. Classical meets punk. Torino meets Shanghai. We don't take ourselves too seriously — but the music is dead serious.

Who's getting in the tub next?

MIDAS TOUCH EP out now. Shanghai shows June 7 + 13. Link in bio.
