Meet Peter Sambia

Peter is a South Sudanese-Australian youth worker, entrepreneur, and community advocate based in Brisbane. With experience supporting young people in residential care, Peter is passionate about helping youth build confidence, direction, and a stronger sense of identity.

He is also the founder of @praema_ , a creative platform that has hosted major fashion and culture events in Brisbane, bringing together young creatives, brands, and community leaders.

Through his work in youth services, entrepreneurship, and community development, Peter is committed to using his journey to encourage young people—especially those from multicultural backgrounds—to believe in their potential, overcome barriers, and create meaningful pathways for their future.

At Inspiring Journeys, Peter will be sharing his story and the lessons behind it - real insight into what it takes to back yourself and build a future on your own terms.

Free food, incredible speakers, and a room that’ll leave you inspired - what more could you want? 🙌
