The Tybee Island stop on #TheRemedyTour reminded me that this work is about so much more than performance. It’s about creating spaces where people from every walk of life can reconnect through joy, rhythm, creativity, and community.

Seeing strangers become family through music affirmed why I continue this journey.

Next stops: New York Then on to Morocco 🌍✨

🥁✨ Rhythm is the Remedy

Check out this snippet from the Community Drum Circle at the Port Wentworth Juneteenth Celebration captured from the sky by @mr.underonesun 📸

Grateful to the City of Port Wentworth, Pat Gunn, Trisha Jennings, the DPI Band, and every participant who helped transform this gathering into a powerful experience.

The best events don’t just entertain our communities. They instead leave them feeling more connected than when they arrived.

Garden Day Recap
Building a Trellis with Denzel @mr.underonesun was such an amazing experience! We felt empowered learning new ways to enhance our garden. The ladies showed up strong—and for some of us, it was our very first time using a power tool!

After the class, I realized how much we need more of these hands-on workshops, especially ones that involve building and creating. It’s such a great reminder that we are capable of so much more than we think!

A big thank you to Denzel for sharing your wisdom—we can’t wait to build more together!

We wrapped up the day with a delicious and nourishing meal featuring homemade guacamole and hibiscus applesauce, both packed with incredible health benefits. The weather was perfect, the vibes were high, and the community energy was beautiful.

Don’t miss out on these free workshops—it’s your time to elevate your mind, skills, and garden!
Like Denzel always says, “Have you started your garden yet?!”

“In spirit, in presence and in voice, in step of adulting this strange life holding highs and lows often times in the span of 1 day. the reminder of ‘hey I show up in my journey in this way” inhales to move through, and get to the point of sometimes the hardest exhale”

Visual journey entry of a moment in time celebrating being awarded and seen . Thank you all of @telfairmuseumsfaaa and our juror panel. These are the things that I know I’m grateful to show up for, ankle brace and all lol. May the conversation of mental health and overall health continue to impact and inspire others to share and create through our voices and art.

Beyond the Trees with the Community 🌱

Thankh you @tatemvillecommunitygarden for having @temakha.music come by to facilitate a sound healing community drum circle for family day at the thriving garden.

Thankh you to all the dear souls who came out to jam with us and thankh you #TheACTionProject for funding our sacred service to our beloved community.

Drum circles allow for self expression and self care to flourish all while building community.

Thankh you @mustardpeanut and @ninoskasfavorites for leading this garden project - fresh food and space to connect with nature is a remedy that is needed in all communities.

Big ups to @mr.underonesun for capturing these beyond the tree views of our time together

Purple Sage Festival was truly life-changing. I learned so much, but three lessons stood out the most:

1️⃣ Be everything you want to be right now. This moment is our chance to feel, think, and become who we truly want to be.
2️⃣ Let go of who you think you are — sometimes we hold ourselves back by clinging to old versions of ourselves.
3️⃣ Be vulnerable. The more open we are, the more open others become too.

Big shoutout to @omzielhealing, @dreannsoul, @mr.underonesun, and @thebuddhabooth for helping me make this video happen — much love and gratitude!

I’m beyond excited for the next one — Are you pulling up? 💜 #purplesagefestival #purplesage #festivals #thankgod
