Early bird has officially flown the coop… but don’t panic. 🐥💨

Advance tickets for the 50th Orchids & Onions Awards are now on sale! 🎟️

This is the next ticket tier, which means the countdown is getting real. Grab your ticket, plan your disco fit, and secure your spot before the “I should’ve bought it earlier” regret starts kicking in.

The early bird got the deal… the advance bird still gets the party. The late bird? FOMO with feathers. 🕺

Join us at Vesper at Liberty Station on Friday, October 2, 2026 for a golden anniversary night full of design, community, disco energy, and the built environment we all love to celebrate, debate, and occasionally side-eye.

Not an SDAF member yet? General SDAF membership is free - which means ticket registration access is just a sign-up away.

Get yours now through the link in our bio!

The last couple months have been busy to say the least. Multiple Birthdays ♉️, school winding down, & summer arriving in Coronado 😎

Tiny humans. Massive vision.

Meet the board behind SDAF — the volunteers, creatives, and community champions who show up every single week for the San Diego community. Swipe to see who we were vs. who we are now. 👉

Day jobs, board seats, and programs we’re genuinely passionate about — this is the team that makes it all happen behind the scenes.

Tag someone who needs to meet the team. 👇💛

Something big is blooming in San Diego. 🌸🧅✨ Save the date — the Orchids & Onions Award Gala is coming 10.02.26, and we’re celebrating 50 years of community, design, and dialogue in a big way.

Nominations open in May — stay tuned and get ready to celebrate the best (and most… interesting) in San Diego architecture. 👀
