Another incredible annual trip to Rick Villobos’ Lookout Lodge in Big Bear. Golf, hikes, poker, amazing meals, and stories that probably should stay locked in the vault! I’ve laughed so hard this weekend that I’ve literally fallen out of my chair, and my abs are sore!

I’ve known these guys since 1986–87, when I was a sophomore and they were seniors at Bonita Vista High School. But what means the most is simply being together. Life moves fast, and the older we get, the more I realize how special these moments really are.

Love these guys. Grateful for 40 years of brotherhood and every moment we still get to share. Some friendships last a season. Others become part of who you are.

Happy Birthday to my favorite pain in the butt! We’ve been through some of the hardest things a couple could ever imagine going through, things that could’ve broken us, tested us, and made us question everything. But through all the ups, downs, tears, and moments where we probably wanted to throw in the towel, here we are, still together. Life hasn’t always been easy, but if there’s one thing I know, it’s that our story has been through some chapters that would’ve made other people put the book down but we keep turning the page. I hope life gives you a little extra kindness, a whole lot of love, happiness, and peace you deserve. I hope you feel celebrated, and reminded of just how much you mean to me. You deserve a day full of smiles, laughter, and everything that makes your heart happy. No matter what life throws our way, I’m hoping for more beautiful days, more reasons to laugh, more memories to make, and many more birthdays together. You deserve all the good things in life, I love you ❤️❤️❤️

Twenty-seven years, countless memories, plenty of laughs, a few arguments where one of us was definitely right, and enough ups and downs to qualify us for our own reality show! We’ve been through a LOT together. The good times, the rough times, the moments when we wondered how we were going to get through it all—and somehow, here we are, still laughing, and still choosing each other. Steve, you’ve been my partner, my best friend, and through it all, my ride or die. Life hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t want to do this crazy journey with anyone else.
Happy Anniversary to us! Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, adventures, and probably arguing over something completely ridiculous. I love you ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Father’s Day to my favorite guy. You’ve always been an incredible dad to Micah and Keeks, filling our lives with laughter, happiness, and so many great memories. Random son appreciation post!

Before you were born, I remember wondering how it could possibly be done. I loved your brother with my whole heart, and I couldn’t imagine how there could be enough room to love another child just as much. Then you arrived. And in that moment, I learned one of the greatest truths about being a mother, love doesn’t divide, it multiplies. My heart didn’t split in two. It simply grew bigger. From the very beginning, you brought your own light into our family. Your smile could brighten the hardest days, and your presence brought a new kind of joy that only you could bring. And the amazing thing is, you still do. Every single day, you continue to bring laughter, love, and light into my life. No matter how old you get, you still make my world brighter just by being you. You have taught me patience, made me laugh when I needed it most, and shown me that strength often comes in the gentlest ways. I’ve loved watching you become exactly who you are, someone who thinks for himself, follows his own path, and leaves a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know you. No matter how old you get, I will always remember the little boy who showed me that a mother’s heart has no limits. You changed my life in the most beautiful way, and you continue to do so every day. Being your mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Keeks, thank you for filling my life with so much love, pride, and happiness.
