Still trying to process the grief of losing my uncle just a week ago, and this morning, I received another heartbreaking news. My colleague, Adrian, has passed on at age 44. 💔

It’s hard to put into words how I feel.

I still remember Adrian’s smile. Even while fighting his own battle with illness, he always had a smile on his face. He was strong-willed, resilient, and somehow always found the strength to carry on.

We were always the “early birds” for our Monday meetings. Before everyone else arrived, we would sit together, chit-chat and share stories. He would boil the water for our coffee and tea, and those simple Monday mornings became little moments that I never thought I would one day miss so much. ☕️

Sometimes, it’s the simplest memories that stay with us the longest.

I never imagined that one day, I would walk into a Monday meeting and you wouldn’t be there.

It hurts to say goodbye. It feels too soon. And perhaps that is the hardest part, knowing there were still so many things left unsaid.

But I find comfort in knowing that you are finally free from the pain and suffering. No more fighting. No more pain. Just peace. 🕊️

Adrian, your journey may have ended, but the impact you made will continue.

We will carry on the work we shared continuing to protect families and help as many people as we can. In doing so, a little part of your legacy will live on.

Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the coffee, the stories, and simply for being you.

Goodbye, Adrian. ❤️
You will be deeply missed, always remembered, and never forgotten.

Rest peacefully. 🕊️

Some goodbyes are harder than words can say. Today, my heart is heavy as I say goodbye to my buddy, Adrian. Diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, he endured three relapses and spent his final months in the hospital. Earlier this year in Bangkok, we even thought we had beaten cancer, and that trip became even more precious in hindsight.
One memory I'll always carry is walking beside him during the Fashion for Cancer walk on 29 August. By then, he was in a wheelchair, and I had the honor of wheeling him through the walk. It spoke louder than words, because even when his body was tired, his courage spoke.

And of course, his small gestures meant so much, like always remembering my birthday and made sure he celebrated with me. That kindness stays with me. Thank you, Adrian, for the friendship, the travels, the laughter, and the memories. You fought hard, and you inspired everyone around you. Rest peacefully. Until we meet again

Watching you depart wasn’t easy.

We had known each other for 2 years.

The first time we met was the “Interview”.

You had impressed me so deeply with your smile, high EQ and ready to execute.

We had many role plays.

Each time you came prepared and always far exceeded my expectations.

@maybel_mama said having you as her “firstborn” has now raised the bar too high.

All because you knew why you chose this profession to be your final one.

You wanted to TRULY IMPACT lives.

Just like how insurance had helped you and your mum when you got diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

Despite a short period, you even cleared QCE Seoul to travel together with us!!

You’ve taught me the BIGGEST lesson in life.

人不是老了才会死，而是随时都会走。

Life doesn’t wait. Start living.

Stop Procrastinating. Start Doing.

Travel while we can.
Eat while we can.
Enjoy while we can.

Our team will continue to fulfill your lifelong Purpose to help protect more people.

You’ve done your best.

Leave the rest in our good hands.

Our 6th MMDA running.

Last year we did it on 24 Nov 2025.

This year we ended Q3 with the same milestone.

My team member @mradrian_toh has been in hospital for the past 4 months.

Fighting cancer, for the third time.

We feel it for his Mum and everyone who loves him.

This is EXACTLY why we do what we do.

This year: two FCs down.

A PSLE period for two mothers - Aihua and myself.

And for the first 9 months, I was:

✈️ 16 trips away, 57 days out of Singapore
🌏 14 work trips, 13 cities, 9 markets
🎤 28 keynotes, workshops and talks
📻 7 radio shows on Capital 958

And still, the team delivered:
❤️ 208 lives protected
❤️ 345 cases
❤️ 20% growth
❤️ MMDA secured 2 months earlier than 2025

Smaller team. Bigger numbers.

That’s not strategy. That’s purpose.

When one of your own team member is fighting this hard…

After. Part 3 of 3.

After is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of a different one.

It is learning to live in a body that has been through war. Finding out who you are now, on the other side of something you never asked for. It is gratitude and grief, sometimes in the same breath.

And for 26 of some of thr most extraordinary people we have ever met, it was also this. A runway. A room full of people on their feet. A moment that said, you are here, you are seen, and what you went through matters. A moment to celebrate that ONE DAY OF HAPPINESS because It Matters.

Club members supported Fashion for Cancer 2026 by providing transport for model ambassador Adrian Toh between Gleneagles Hospital and The Westin Singapore.

Despite battling stage 4 lung cancer and recovering from recent spine and brain surgeries, Adrian took to the catwalk with remarkable courage and strength.

It was a meaningful opportunity for us to stand alongside Adrian and support the fight against cancer.

During. Part 2 of 3.

Nobody can ever prepare you for what During feels like. Not the textbooks, brochures or the well-meaning people who say you’ll be fine.

During is the treatment that takes more than it gives, at least for a while. It is the days you cannot get out of bed and the days you dig deep to find it within to power through anyway. It is learning, very quickly, who shows up and who disappears.

In Part 2, our Model Ambassadors speak about the middle of the story. the part that is hardest to tell and hear, just so someone out there know that they are not alone. It matters that these stories are told and that you hear them.

There is a moment before the diagnosis that nobody talks about. The scan you almost didn’t book. The symptom you sometimes chose to dismiss. Because we always think that “IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME”.

In this first of three films, our Model Ambassadors take us back to that moment. The one they never saw coming. The fear they didn’t know how to name. And the impossible task of telling the people they love.

Our hearts are incredibly full 💕

Sharing this special 3-part video series that was screened at the show created to give you a little glimpse into the stories and lives behind some of our incredible Model Ambassadors.

When we first sat down with our core team to plan @fashionforcancersg, we knew we wanted it to be more than just a fashion show…

Beyond the runway, we wanted their voices to be heard. Their stories. Their journeys. Their courage. And how they’ve braved through cancer while continuing to show us what it truly means to LIVE life to the fullest.

We wish we could have shared every single story, but here’s a little glimpse into just some of the incredible humans who inspire us so much 🥹🫶🏻

The show may be over, but their stories stay with us and so does this reminder: life is precious, tomorrow is never guaranteed, and every day we get to be here, surrounded by the people we love, is truly a gift.
