Growing up, the Now That’s What I Call Music compilations were always around, stacked in cars, playing at family parties, or blasting through cheap CD players in bedrooms. They captured a moment in time, track by track.

Now That’s What I Call Heartbreak taps into that same feeling, the soundtrack of growing up, love, loss, and everything in between.

A nostalgic nod to a cultural staple that, somehow, is still going today.

Available now:

‘Now That’s What I Call Heartbreak’ by Brandon Aguiar

We’re thrilled to spotlight ⭕️ member @mrbastudio Brandon Aguiar.

Brandon’s figurative paintings draw from personal narrative, found imagery, and art-historical references to explore memory, duality, and emotional interiority. Through layered process and shifting imagery, his work invites viewers into psychological spaces that feel intimate, unresolved, and deeply human.

Born in Massachusetts, Brandon lives and works in Providence, RI.

We’re honored to have Brandon as part of the ⭕️ community.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night for Drinks with Artists and thanks to Kimi’s for their hospitality. It was a great evening! This growing monthly event is such a fun and relaxed way to connect with fellow creatives and build community among artists.

Our next gathering will take place Thursday, April 3 from 5:30-8:00pm at Myrtle in East Providence. Mark your calendar and don’t miss it!

I used to picture myself as the mom who would only have wooden toys and perfectly matching PJs. However, my little guy has lots of interests, loves his old Christmas pajamas, and can’t get enough of toys that sing to him. 🤷‍♀️

I’m trying to post a bit more this year. It might just be a survival tactic to get through this presidency, but it’s currently bringing me a bit of joy to treat Insta like the old days.
