POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m pretty sure I got banned from my son’s @hope._dealer boxing gym @vercettifc yesterday. 😭😂

Chris had his first sparring match after being away from boxing for over a year, and I ALREADY knew I shouldn’t go inside.

Because I’m not one of those calm, composed sports moms.

I’m the mama who sees her child getting hit and immediately forgets rules, regulations, sportsmanship, and several scriptures. 😭

So I stayed in the car.

That lasted until I saw Chris getting tired in the ring.

BABY…

I came through those doors like somebody had kidnapped my child.

“CUT THIS SHT THE FCK OUT! ENOUGH IS F*CKING ENOUGH!”

The gym went SILENT. 😭😭😭

Chris stopped and looked at me like he wanted the referee to disqualify ME.

Not his opponent.

ME. 😭😂

His face literally said:

“Sir, can you please escort my mother back to her vehicle so we can continue?”

I swear he looked more concerned about ME than the person standing in front of him with boxing gloves on.

Then he gave me that long embarrassed stare like, “This right here is EXACTLY why I don’t tell you anything.”

And somewhere in Heaven, I KNOW Jesus took His glasses off and rubbed the bridge of His nose.

Because ma’am…

IT WAS A SPARRING MATCH.

HE VOLUNTEERED TO BE IN THERE. 😂

My kids know their mother is not wrapped too tight when it comes to them.

Chris has probably saved several people over the years just by saying, “Nah, Mama, I’m good,” instead of telling me who upset him.

I watched the video afterward and even I was like…

“Who let this lady in here?” 😭😂

Anyway, I probably won’t be invited back.

Chris probably already gave them my picture and told them:

“If she pulls up again, lock the doors.”

And for the safety of the entire boxing community…

I understand. 😭😂

Yesterday I took a chance on a new stylist for Arvaeyah, and y’all… I could CRY! 😭💗

My baby DIDN’T CRY!! 🥹 If you know Arvaeyah and autism, you know how BIG this is. Hair appointments have always been overwhelming for her, so watching her sit calmly and feel safe meant EVERYTHING to me.

I had to record it because I knew nobody would believe me! 😂😭 But look at GOD! He does not play about me or my babies. EVERYTHING HE REMOVES, HE UPGRADES! 🙌🏽💗

Thank you, @stylezbyrikka , for being so gentle and patient with my baby. You didn’t just make her hair beautiful—you made her feel SAFE. 🥹💕

Final result is in my stories! 😍

Dear God, thank You for today. 🙏🏽

Thank You for everything You’ve done in this season for my family.

Nobody knows the warfare I’ve had to pray through.
Nobody knows the things I’ve had to ask You to dismantle, expose, remove, and protect us from.

Lord, continue to search the hearts of everyone around us and make things crystal clear—not just for me, but for my husband too.

Give us the wisdom to know who belongs in this next season and the courage to walk away from what doesn’t.

I always tell him:
It’s not about where you’re from.
It’s not about what you used to do.
It’s about where you are NOW and where GOD is taking us.

We cannot keep linking up with darkness and calling it support.
We cannot keep holding onto relationships that God is clearly trying to separate us from.

Lord, help us continue to be set apart.
Protect our home.
Protect our children.
Protect our marriage.
Protect our purpose.

And from this day forward, I declare that EVERYTHING attached to this family will have to line up with the will of God.

Every wrong connection will be exposed.
Every door God did not open will close.
Every assignment sent to distract, divide, delay, or destroy will FAIL.
Our home will have peace.
Our marriage will have covering.
Our children will be protected.
Our purpose will not be aborted.
And what God has for us will NOT be contaminated by what He told us to leave behind.

WE ARE SET APART.
WE ARE COVERED.
WE ARE PROTECTED.
WE ARE OBEDIENT.
WE ARE MOVING FORWARD.

And baby, we are not just blessed down here…

WE ARE HEAVEN BOUND. 🙌🏽🔥

As for me and my house, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD.

Picture of me and my SON just because ❤️
