Twenty-five years since these kids got dirty and drunk on Passion Pop together after working a New Years Eve shift at a Sunny Coast Thai restaurant; best filthy move I ever made.

Happy quarter century anniversary, to this handsome-kind-funny journalism-philosophy-anthropology-cybernetics-psychology-nerd-singer-songwriter-producer-announcer-manager-strategist-psych undergrad who also happens to be the sweetest uncle, friend and family member to so many of you guys seeing this. x

Happy release month to @carlyfindlay’s ‘Growing Up Disabled in Australia’ anthology! 🥳

Stoked for all the legendary contributors inc. @jordonsteelejohn @baldwinalistair @jesshealywalton @samuelgdrummond @_astridedwards_ @carlyjaymetcalfe and more.

Whether you’re part of the one in five Australians with a disability or an able-bodied person who knows, loves and/or works alongside them (i.e. all of us), this is both a timely and timeless collection from the heart. Honoured to pass on the editor’s relay baton from the queer anthology to Carly for this.

YEWWWW OPENING NIGHT OF TORCH THE PLACE, BYIATCHES. Elated and depleted in equal measure, in the best possible way. Thank you so much to everyone who came out last night—many from interstate (!), two on their birthdays (!!), one taking time from his responsibilities as Premier of the state of Victoria (!!)—to give our team a goddamned standing ovation. Our hearts are full. 🔥🏠 #MTCTorchThePlace

Happy birthday to one of the bravest, smartest, blisteringly talented humans I’ve been lucky to know and love. @washingtongram is a treasure. And, guess what? She has a new album out soon too!

Obviously it’s the horrendous outtakes (keep scrolling) I’ll cherish most and frame. Love having professional photographer @tammy_laws in the tribe. And love belonging to this iconic family of absolute fucking idiots.

Earlier this year, I joined four fellow privileged Australians to experience various forms of homelessness for 10 days for @sbs_australia’s #FilthyRichHomeless.
___
It was honestly one of the most profound and emotionally shattering experiences of my life. Engaging directly with Australians experiencing homelessness—who acted as our guides and consultants, who nurtured us and became our friends—has completely reframed for me a problem that is only getting worse in this country. We hope it does the same for you.

Join the conversation. Watch on SBS from 14 August.

First same-sex wedding between these gents was so beautiful I’ve decided Australia has made a mistake, we didn’t go far enough, we should’ve voted to make it mandatory that every marriage is gay. 🌈

‪Hello this is how young Australian media professionals look in 2018, embrace it or die angry about it, we don’t mind. 💅💅🏿💅🏼‬
