Ten core moments in 2024 that I’m so so grateful for 😌 number 7️⃣

October 2024 saw the opening scenes of Yona 2.0: Life After Diving, where I made the big and scary move down to London. Fortunately it’s been made very easy thanks to the support of @kira_rothwell and a strong base of friends from school who made the same pilgrimage years before myself.
My eyes have been opened to so much opportunity and I’m excited to step up my efforts in 2025, but I’ve already been pretty active in my almost 3 months so far, throwing myself out of my comfort zone, mixing with sporting legends, and significantly increasing my time spent on LinkedIn 😅

Last week I decided to treat myself to some CPD …

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities.

As you know I have been speaking for years and had previously gone on a Speakers course back in 2018 it was time to refine my speaking skills so I signed up to @richforevernetwork Speakers Academy as a birthday gift to myself.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and the best part for me was the people that I met 🤗 their stories were incredible.

Never stop learning and never stop investing in yourself…

2025 be intentional to be the best version of you to bless and benefit others.

Have a blessed day

It was her birthday but she still did this for me 👀…

A huge thank you to my carer Michelle for joining me on the Speakers Academy on her birthday 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Without you, opportunities like this wouldn’t be possible.

🩵🩵🩵 To all the carers out there.

———-
Another thank you to @just.is.best, @biancamillerofficial, @mrbselfmade and the @richforevernetwork team for celebrating Michelle with me.

Push Present !! 👶🏾🎁

I'm not great at surprises ... who wants to see the reaction video? 🤣

He got his gift 😉
Now I've got two gifts 🥲

... Question: Do you get a push gift each time ? ... asking for a friend..

I think magic exists…👀

Or Dr. Raphael Sofoluke is simply amazing at hosting the UK Black Business Show 🖤

I walked away from this event feeling fully determined to invest in myself and take time to hear the stories of others. I believe this is a true credit to all the speakers, exhibitors and attendees at the BBS🎙️

Steven Bartlett, Darren Miller, Nerima W, Yanmo Adetula & so many others - I respect the facts and wisdom your talks were built off, and will carry forward many of your impactful messages into my career and personal development.

Thank you to EY for this opportunity💛

Honoured to speak at the Self-Made Speakers showcase on Saturday 9th November! 🎤 I had the incredible opportunity to connect with an audience of over 200 people, in a seven minutes Tedx style keynote sharing insights on the transformative power of female leadership and the strength that comes from true collaboration.

Over ten years ago I never would have taken the stage or even thought about the power of using your voice to inspire and share important messages and learning for others. Now I really enjoy speaking.

The audience were so warm and the buzz in the room was electric. It was also great to speak with so many and network afterwards.

Thank you for the opportunity Dr Bryon Cole and Bianca Miller-Cole

Here’s to empowering each other and creating spaces where women in leadership can thrive together! 💪🏻
