More power, improved airflow and a seriously aggressive exhaust note from that twin-turbo V8! 💨 🔧 THE UPGRADE LIST: ✅ TCP Performance – Custom downpipes complete with heat shielding to help manage temperatures within the engine bay. ✅ Custom Titanium X-Pipe Exhaust – Full straight-through titanium X-pipe backbox delete, designed to unleash the sound of that 3.8L twin-turbo V8! 🔥 ✅ 4” Burnt Titanium Exhaust Tips – Oversized burnt titanium tips giving the rear end a seriously aggressive finish! 😮‍💨 ✅ @bmcairfilters High-Flow Performance Air Filters – Improving airflow and allowing those turbos to breathe more freely. ✅ @mrctuning Stage 2 Multi-Map Software – Custom Stage 2 calibration with multi-map switching, giving the customer different selectable engine maps. 💥 THE RESULT? McLAREN 720S – ANOTHER MAD PROJECT COMPLETED AT TCP PERFORMANCE! 🔥 Here’s another incredible project we’ve had the pleasure of getting our hands on! 🚀 One of my long-standing customers recently treated himself to this stunning McLaren 720S. However, on the drive home, he quickly realised it wasn’t quite up to his standards… Not long after, my phone rang. 📞 “Tom, can you do your thing on this 720S?” My reply? “Drop her off.” 😎 And that’s exactly what he did! 🔧 FIRST UP – SORTING THE COMMON ISSUES As impressive as these cars are, they’re not without their problems! One of the known weak points is the factory turbo inlet pipes. The internals can fail and potentially get sucked straight into the turbo compressor, causing some very expensive damage! We weren’t taking any chances, so we upgraded the following: 🔴 Oversized silicone turbo inlet pipes 🔴 Upgraded DV valves 🔴 BMC performance air filters With those weaknesses addressed, it was time to get onto the fun stuff! 😈 🔥 NEXT UP – A ONE-OFF CUSTOM TITANIUM EXHAUST! The customer had one request: he didn’t want the car ridiculously loud, but he definitely wanted a bit more spice from that twin-turbo V8! So we got to work fabricating a full custom titanium X-pipe backbox delete system, featuring: 💥 Bespoke titanium X-pipe design 💥 Backbox delete 💥 Double-lined slash-cut titanium exhaust tips 💥 Removal of the factory exhaust valves 💥 Extended exhaust tip positioning Not only does the new setup give the car a much more aggressive exhaust note, but we’ve also positioned the tips further out to help prevent the rear bumper heat damage that can occur with the factory exhaust arrangement. Less restriction, more character, and a seriously impressive titanium setup! 🔥 🏁 FINALLY – THE PERFECT FINISHING TOUCH! Our boy @psiddy81 came through with something special! A full set of titanium wheel studs paired with a brand-new custom set of his @cpr_forged one-piece wheels 😮‍💨 Finished off with some seriously chunky 315-section rear tyres to help put that twin-turbo power to the road! WE’RE BACK — TCP PERFORMANCE 🔧 Unfortunately, our previous Instagram account was hacked, meaning we’ve had to start again from scratch. This is the new official TCP Performance page. If you followed us previously, we’d really appreciate a follow, share and tag to help us build the page back up luckily we had this backup account we’ve been in active for the last 5 weeks due to having no socials but we are back!!! While we’ve had no way of booking clients in we’ve spent the last 4 weeks re vamping the workshop. As you can see we’ve had all the outside knocked down and concreted allowing loads more parking space, new shop sign with led spot lights. All the outside freshly painted with a new shutter and gates and finished with a new gate and 3 new pop up ram Ballards for extra security. From the yamyam test day on monday only managed 1 full pass due to some over boost issues and faulty coilpacks eventually got to the bottom of the problems ran this 8.8 and was unfortunately stopped from running untill the car has a rollcage fitted so that’s the end of the season for the mk7 and not sure if i will keep hold of the car for next year as the car does have a lot of potential considering it’s 2-300hp off similar timed cars happy that it has gone a little faster every outing though thanks to @europes_fastest_rs3 for lending me his coilpacks and @paulmbeattie and @hazmondd for helping out on the day and well done to @thersrmk7 in the blue golf for running 9.0 so close to that 8 now 😈

Managed to do a clean 9.0 run , was hoping to get into the 8s but kept launching to hard causing to much wheel spin and hitting limiter in second it seems 🫡
