✨ GEP 2026 ✨

Meu primeiro GEP.

E que forma especial de começar essa jornada!

Foram dias que significaram muito mais do que aprendizado profissional. Tive a oportunidade de trocar experiências com pessoas incríveis, conversar de perto com palestrantes que admiro, conhecer diferentes perspectivas sobre a perfuração corporal e mergulhar ainda mais fundo nesse universo que escolhi para mim.

Conhecer de perto a @bvla , uma das maiores referências mundiais em joalheria para piercings, foi uma experiência marcante, que ampliou meu olhar para a arte, a qualidade e os detalhes que tornam esse mercado tão especial.

Mas, para além de todo o conhecimento, levo comigo as conexões que construí, as conversas que me ensinaram tanto e as amizades que nasceram ali e que quero levar para a vida. É muito especial encontrar pessoas que compartilham da mesma paixão, que inspiram, acolhem e nos fazem perceber que estamos no caminho certo.

E não poderia deixar de agradecer ao Herbert, vulgo Subliminho e à Sublime, que fazem parte de tudo isso de uma forma muito especial. @sublimepiercings , grata por cada ensinamento, pela confiança, pelo apoio e por abrir caminhos para que eu pudesse chegar até aqui. Ter alguém que acredita em você, compartilha conhecimento e incentiva o seu crescimento faz toda a diferença. Se hoje estou vivendo essa experiência e dando os primeiros passos para construir minha história na perfuração corporal, é porque você fez parte disso desde o começo. Sem você, nada disso seria real. Sou muito grata por tudo que tenho aprendido e por fazer parte da Sublime.

Volto para casa com a bagagem cheia de conhecimento, novas referências, inspirações e a vontade ainda maior de evoluir. Mais do que uma experiência profissional, o GEP foi um lembrete de que ninguém constrói uma trajetória incrível sozinho: existem pessoas, oportunidades e encontros que transformam o caminho.

Que esse seja apenas o primeiro de muitos GEPs, de muitas trocas e de tudo o que ainda está por vir.

Isso é só o começo. E como é bom saber que não estou começando sozinha. ✨

Hoje tive o maior prazer de participar em mais um evento. E conhecer o pai do Piercing Moderno Jim Ward. Fundador da Gauntlet primeira loja de Piercing em Novembro de 1975.

I know this post is *fashionably* late, but life has been busy-busy. I had such a memorable first time at the APP conference @safepiercing this year, and I'm slowly counting the days till I see my friends again. (I could only tag 20 people and could only fit so many pictures while still making it aesthetic. I know I missed a bunch of folks but its ok I still love you all 😅)

Overcoming extremely difficult shit, learning more about myself, tuning my mental and physical health in, discovering new interests, traveling, and being loved and liked by this guy @claywanstrath Another year- to growth, health, and happiness! I’m so locked in it’s insane. I have been properly spoiled by Clay which is no surprise-here are some photos of our fancy dinner date, the most beautiful Gauntlet collectors pieces, a book about jewels that I’ve already begun reading and a hilarious on trend water glove pet- custom made by the one and only Frankie (I died laughing it was so good) 🤠👻 I’m thankful for each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds. #lockedin #growth #motivationalpost #birthday

Published in 2011, the book brings together memories and accounts about the development of the modern piercing movement, covering events, people, experiences, and the emergence of Gauntlet, one of the first studios dedicated exclusively to piercing.

For this conversation, we will have Jim Ward, author of the book, and the special participation of André Fernandes, responsible for translating the book into Portuguese.

A space to discuss the book, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the history of piercing through the experiences presented in the work.
