@mrlightupp is a Dominican-American rapper and producer hailing from the Bronx. Lightupp is well respected in New York's underground Hip-Hop scene for his accolades.

Although Lightupp is a prideful Bronx, New York native he has a love for Detroit's new music scene.

LightUpp and in-house producer @cjshallow_ decided to try their hand at the replicating that sound with some NYC swag on Lightupp's latest effort " Double It".

So much gratitude for every single person involved over the years, none of
this would be possible without your help in hand. Down to recording, engineering, producing, any photography, videography, choreography, MUA & so much more. Some songs you may have heard, some you haven’t. But all of that is irrelevant because my goal is to make music that withstands the test of time. I compiled some clips from my own music videos, some personal footage & random ones featuring some badass Queens (@dominiquet.a.r.jackson, @gracejonesofficial , @janetjackson ) . Again I appreciate everyone’s support and time in making this happen with me.

🎵STAY TUNED FOR MORE 🎵
