It was an honor joining KGW8 Hello Rose City to discuss the 988 Oregon resource, breaking the stigma around mental health, and why open conversations matter in Black and Brown communities. Grateful to share the space with Ebony Clarke, Director of the Behavioral Health Division at the Oregon Health Authority and Lisa Saunders, Founder and Executive Director of FaithBridge Portland for this important dialogue. I am grateful to God for giving me another year of life, and I am thankful for the great people He has placed in my life. I value every individual who has made a positive impact, including those in the picture, the camera-shy ones, and those who wanted to be there but couldn't make it. With love and appreciation, I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

A Season to Sit and Hear His Voice

6-Month Sabbatical Announcement for Bishop Jermaine

Beginning February 8, 2026

Dear Church Family and Covenant Partners,

Today, February 8, 2026, marks the beginning of a sacred and intentional season for our beloved Bishop Jermaine.

In biblical symbolism, the number 8 represents new beginnings. With prayerful consideration and spiritual discernment, Bishop Jermaine is entering a 6-month sabbatical — a season devoted to sitting in the presence of the Lord, hearing His voice with clarity, and stepping into a new chapter both prophetically and personally.

This is not a stepping away from calling, but a stepping deeper into communion.

For years, Bishop has faithfully poured out — preaching, praying, leading, building, and covering. Now, the Lord has made space for him to be poured into. This sabbatical is a divine appointment for:
• Spiritual renewal
• Physical rest
• Fresh revelation
• Strategic direction for the next season
• Personal and prophetic alignment

We believe this is a season of divine recalibration — where heaven downloads fresh vision and oil is renewed for greater impact.

A Christmas dinner with family focused on gratitude is
a meaningful tradition centered on acknowledging and appreciating personal and shared blessings. It is less about material gifts and more about the shared experience of love, connection, and family bonds.

The meaning of a gratitude-focused Christmas dinner includes:

Cherishing Loved Ones: The primary meaning is recognizing that the presence of family members is the greatest gift. It's an opportunity to strengthen relationships, create lasting memories, and share stories and laughter with those who matter most, especially in a busy world where daily connections can be fleeting.

Ultimately, a gratitude Christmas dinner is about nurturing the soul, reinforcing shared history and identity, and recognizing the abundance of love within the family circle.
