Worthington is open for business. Let’s keep it that way. If someone hands you a clipboard in the next few weeks and asks you to sign a petition, I want you to know what you’re signing. I’m Annina Panini, President and CEO of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce. The petition going around is about the old Harding Hospital site on East Dublin Granville Road, where I Am Boundless has its campus. Here’s what the project actually does: ▪️ Allows Boundless to rebuild their campus and expand programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities ▪️ Adds 65-80 new jobs ▪️ Brings ~246 new homes to Worthington for working families like teachers, nurses and first responders. If the petition gets enough signatures, this will go to a public vote - one that won’t happen until November 2027. Most projects can’t wait that long. To learn more, go to worthingtonchamber.org to read our latest blog or feel free to go to the city! #worthingtonchamber #iamboundless #worthingtonohio

Congratulations to Alex Revelos and the team at Akita Biosciences! ✂️We were honored to celebrate this exciting milestone with a ribbon cutting recognizing the launch of @profinasalspray an innovative nasal spray that’s recently launched in Target stores nationwide. Seeing a local member of our community bring an innovative product from idea to a national retail launch is exactly the kind of success story we love to celebrate!  We’re thrilled to recognize Alex and his team on this incredible achievement. The best part of building The Slice isn’t just watching the space come together. It’s building relationships along the way. Co-founders Chris Knapton and Ron Sheth had the pleasure of meeting with the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce to share the vision behind what we’re creating. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to open our doors and give back to a community that has already given us so much. 🩵⛳️

What makes the Worthington Arts Festival so special? It’s the artists. It’s the setting. And it’s the impact it has on our community. The 32nd annual Worthington Arts Festival just wrapped, and welcomed more than 25,000 attendees and 120+ artists from 16 states! This festival does something special. It brings our community together. It creates memories and reminds us why art and culture matter. We’re grateful to @nbc4i for taking the time to cover the festival and feature insights from McConnell Arts Center Executive Director @kimberleegoodman and our President and CEO, @mrsp1011 . Their perspective on why this event is so vital to Worthington was perfectly captured. Thank you to the @mcconnellarts Center, all the artists, vendors, volunteers, and everyone who made this weekend unforgettable. THIS is @worthingtonohio at its best! 🎉  Comment ‘FESTIVAL’ to watch the full interview #worthingtonohio #worthingtonartsfestival #mcconnellartscenter #artsfestival #communityfirst

Thanks to everyone who came out today for the sold out Moss & Miles botanical wall art workshop benefitting Pelotonia featuring our plant bestie, Ashleigh Lemon of Lemon Garden Designs! All of your designs were fabulous! WE RAISED OVER $1500 FOR CANCER RESEARCH! Today was truly made possible by the best volunteers in the world, including, but not limited to: Stacie Linn, William J. Patton, Jackie Apgar, Dave Johnston and Julie Haley. It's always great to see familiar guest faces, but even more exciting that more than 75% of the room was attending their first Selena's Shenanigans. Forever grateful for this (always growing) community! Love you all so much! #OneGoal #EndingCancer #NoLimits #Pelotonia26 #DadCancerEndsOnMyWatch
