✨A Buddy Read Book Review✨

This was SO much fun! (And so emotional) 😂🫶🏻
Here are our reviews for Our Perfect Storm by @carleyfortune

@mrspottspages :
I have the biggest book hangover from this lovely story! Frankie and George are dazzling, their friendship, their love! 💗 I absolutely love a friends to lovers story, but this one felt completely special and Carley Fortune’s writing makes you feel like you grew up with them.
Following their friendship through the time line in this book left me feeling so nostalgic. The setting & descriptions made me want to book my plane ticket to Tofino. I devoured this book so quickly and enjoyed it so whole heartedly. It was a bit predictable, I will admit, but not in a redundant or overdone way. It was like having a warm blanket wrapped around you, predictable in a way that was so comforting! You were rooting for these two from the get-go.

I would give it a 5 ⭐️ rating and a 3 🌶️ for spice! Although I feel like the spice was done very well and not cringey at all.

Without spoiling anything, Francesca the Whale has my heart forever!! 🩷🐳

My heart is so full! This was beautifully written, the slow burn romance was pure perfection! It felt so incredibly raw, emotional, and pure. I was completely captivated and enjoyed every single minute of this book.Getting to experience a lifetime of friendship between Frankie and George was such a sweet yet frustrating ride. It had me rooting for them from the start. Not only a romance, but the relationship between a mother and daughter that isn’t perfect.- had me in tears. If you love a romance that takes its time and hooks you completely, add this to your TBR immediately!
