Get dressed with me for Revival Runway ✨

For a day celebrating Australian independent designers, I wanted an outfit that sat somewhere between polished and relaxed, with a few fun details thrown in.

It started with this degail Cecile blazer, which I tried on purely to check the fit… and promptly decided I needed.

And because Revival Runway was on Sunday, I can now confirm, it was such a great day. Great fashion, great people, designers I already love and a few new discoveries.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be able to make something like this. Huge thanks to @ms.dandy.n and @the_pattern_making_class for giving me the confidence to try it. More pics of the full dress to follow (after the event)

Fabric is a glorious viscose twill Liberty print from @thelittleworldoffabric bought many many moons ago. Pattern is a modified #ddmagnolia by @deer_and_doe_patterns (I think now owned by @closetcorepatterns) and the event is my wonderful brother-in-law’s wedding. Can’t wait!

Wow @luliepalooza yesterday exceeded all expectations, great weather, ace crowd, mates & mates of mates who knew those mates, mate it was excellent ok!!
The Gnomes, Frenzee, Grim Rhythm, Big Noter, Grace Cummings were all so very good & Private Function’s final ever gig was their usual understated effort!! This was aces ⚡️⚡️⚡️
