Another big moment for Merger Ink at @inkcon 2026!

Congratulations to @scrappystattoos of @mergerinkstudio for taking home 1st Place Best of Day (day 1) with an incredible piece that speaks for itself.

In this video, Scrappy breaks down his award winning tattoo, sharing his creative process, techniques, and how he used Merger Ink’s Luxe Rotary Tattoo Machine alongside Insane Ink Super Duper Black and Deep Black to bring his vision to life.

Every award winning piece has a story behind it, and we’re proud to have our products be part of Scrappy’s journey.

Have questions about his technique, machine setup, or the products he used? Drop them in the comments. We’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

Louisville, we’re coming to haunt you.

@mergerink is creeping into the @macabreartstattoofestival this weekend, Oct 23–25 along with @skindesigntattoos_nash

Calling all artists: stop by our booth and grab the goods.

Luxe Rotary Tattoo Machine, sleek, cordless and wickedly smooth
Insane Ink Deep Black and Super Duper Black, blacks so dark even the ghosts get nervous
Blasted Aftercare Lotion, so those fresh pieces heal looking killer

Come say what’s up, test the Luxe and stock up before the coffin closes. Built by artists, for artists.

See you in the shadows.

God, bless the woman who still finds a reason to smile through it all. That smile carries faith, sacrifice, and a love that keeps showing up beside Big Sleeps.
Through the uncertainty, she has stayed. Through the hurt, she has loved. And when strength was hard to find, that love helped carry her another day. Lord, hold Monica the way she has held him. Give her rest without guilt, room to cry, and arms to lean on when she’s tired. Let her feel the love she gives so freely coming back to her.Bring healing to Big Sleeps and peace to their hearts. Keep that beautiful smile alive, and give them more moments of joy together. Con fe, fuerza y amor. Amen. 🙏🏽— René PoetKing Rodríguez

This beautiful family purchased the artwork I created for my brother @bigsleeps’ art fundraiser last night. So thankful for their support and the opportunity to help Monica and David. 🙏🏽

David has stood beside us in so many ways—from helping us feed families to advocating alongside us on the frontlines for street vendors. Now it’s our turn to show up for him and Monica.

God bless you both. Please keep praying for David’s recovery. 🙏🏽

Huge thank you to everyone who donated artwork and the team who brought this fundraiser together. Love you guys.

So dope seeing my brother @bigsleeps still bringing people together even laid up in the hospital. A few different worlds came together last night to help our brother out in time of need. Great seeing my crew @killtwosucceed along with heads from the neighborhood and the tattoo community stepping up to give back to a brother who has given so much to all 3. Congrats to the heads that were able to swoop my pieces for the big dawg! And no the blue LA hands piece wasn’t mine 🧐😩.
Can’t wait to see ya get out that hospital and get back to what u love, u still owe me a K2S block on my neck btw.
Thank u @sullenfamily for putting this together with @ms.sleeps @ongodmgmt and @rodeo72pm for such a beautiful evening with the familia.

What a beautiful turnout yesterday for @bigsleeps!! An amazing display of love, support, and solidarity. Went solo but did not feel alone one minute because as I stepped in I was greeted by a giant Lil Mr. E, El Triste, and La Smiley by my talented friend @_flyboii. It was a confirmation that turning the sketches over was the right thing and perfect crowd.🙏🏽 I squeezed in work between these two events yesterday but so glad I made the trip here. What an amazing turn out from Bigsleeps friends and family.🫶🏽👏🏽🔥🎨🖌️
