Was gibt es schöneres, als am Pfingstsonntag morgens zum Sonnenaufgang am Mohnfeld zu sein? 🥰🩷💜❤️

Das Mohnfeld bei uns in der Nähe war in diesem Jahr allerdings nicht annähernd so schön, wie im vergangenen Jahr. Es war ein gemischtes Feld (rot + pink-violett) und es waren viele hohe Gräser am Rand und dazwischen. Das hat das fotografieren ziemlich erschwert, da es fast unmöglich war, ein schönes Bokeh zu erzielen. Man konnte auch nicht wirklich in das Feld rein, denn ich möchte ja die Blumen nicht zertrampeln.

Trotz dieser widrigen Umstände habe ich die knapp zwei Stunden dort sehr genossen und bin mit 450 Bildern im Gepäck glücklich nach Hause gefahren 😅. Das eine oder andere lässt sich sicher sehen😉.

What could be more wonderful than being out in a poppy field at sunrise on Whit Sunday morning? 🥰🩷💜❤️

However, the poppy field near us wasn’t nearly as beautiful this year as it was last year. It was a mixed field (red and pink-violet), and there was a lot of tall grass along the edges and scattered throughout. This made photography quite challenging, as it quickly became impossible to achieve a nice bokeh effect. You couldn’t really venture into the field, either—after all, I certainly didn’t want to trample the flowers.

Despite these adverse conditions, I thoroughly enjoyed the nearly two hours I spent there and drove home happy, with 450 photos in tow 😅. A few of them are certainly worth a look 😉.

Stundenlanges Warten, die Ungewissheit im Nacken: Ist er heute überhaupt da? Und dann – plötzlich – dieser Moment! 💥 Mein absoluter Lieblingsvogel, der Eisvogel, schießt wie ein blauer Pfeil aus dem Nichts herab und taucht mit voller Wucht ins Wasser ein. 🌊
Auch wenn er dieses Mal ohne Beute wieder auftauchte, war diese explosive Action pure Magie. Es ist genau dieser Nervenkitzel der Naturfotografie, der mich immer wieder nach draußen zieht.
Ein glückloser Eisvogel, aber ein riesiges Glückslos für meine Kamera! ✨💙

Hours of waiting and that nagging uncertainty: Is he even here today? And then – suddenly – this moment! 💥 My absolute favorite, the kingfisher, dives like a blue arrow out of nowhere, hitting the water with incredible force. 🌊
Even though he emerged empty-handed (or empty-beaked) this time, the explosive action was pure magic. It’s exactly this thrill of wildlife photography that keeps me coming back.
A lucky escape for the fish, but a huge win for my lens! ✨💙

4000 🩵💜💚🩷🧡💛mal Danke liebe Insta Freunde

Als mein „Irgendwo mussten die Bilder hin“ begann,
hatte ich nicht ansatzweise Ahnung von Fotografie.
Nur ein leises: Oh, wie schön.
Und ganz viel: Warum ist das so unscharf?!

Ernsthaft.
ISO? Blende? Verschlusszeit?
Klang für mich lange wie ein Escape-Room-Rätsel….
Meine Kamera hatte gefühlt 730 Knöpfe –
verstanden habe ich ca drei. Und die auch noch falsch.

30.000 Fotos später:
5 scharf,
10 ganz okay,
der Rest … nennen wir’s mal „künstlerisch unscharf“ 😂
habe ich 2023 diesen Account erstellt.
Als jemand „schönes Bokeh“ kommentierte, musste ich’s erstmal googeln.
Dachte kurz, das wäre ein exotisches Dessert oder ein Pokémon.

Zwei Jahre später fotografiere ich immer noch mehr mit dem Herzen als mit Technik –
aber wir sind inzwischen gute Freunde 😉

Fotografie ist mein Weg zur Achtsamkeit.
Zeit spielt keine Rolle, Gedanken werden leise.
Was bleibt, sind ehrliche Augenblicke –
nicht perfekt, aber schön.

Und dass hier jetzt 4000 Menschen sind,
die genau das mögen, die bleiben,
das berührt mich sehr.

Am vergangenen Dienstag war ich um 5.30 Uhr am pinken Mohnfeld bei uns in der Nähe. Es war sinnvoll, denn das Wetter sollte umschlagen und ich wollte einfach gerne etwas Morgenlicht mit einfangen.

Eine Stunde habe ich dort verbracht und es in vollen Zügen genossen, um diese Uhrzeit alleine zu sein. Es war allerdings auch sehr kalt 🥶. Hatte das wirklich unterschätzt.

Diese Serie grätscht jetzt etwas in meine Bilder vom Bodensee rein, aber so ist es eben. Ich denke, dass die Mohn-Freunde es voll verstehen 🤗.

Last Tuesday, I was at the pink poppy field near us at 5:30 a.m. It made sense, because the weather was supposed to change, and I just wanted to capture some morning light.

I spent an hour there and thoroughly enjoyed being alone at that time of day. It was also very cold 🥶. I really underestimated that.

This series is now somewhat intruding on my pictures from Lake Constance, but that’s just how it is. I think poppy lovers will totally understand 🤗.
