St. Joseph Brooklyn MBB HC Sebastien Etheart will be working with Eurobasket on putting together a team of seniors from the Skyline and NJAC conferences to go to Madrid Spain in June 2027! We were able to organize this trip last year to Portugal and now will have 4 games against teams through Central and Southern Spain. THE SENIOR YEAR LEVEL-UP. 🏀🔥

GRAVY (aka Donte Caraballo) absolutely put on a showcase at the Invitational this weekend [1.1]. Stepping up when the lights were brightest, Donte locked down MAJOR PRs across the board, completely resetting his baseline metrics with an incredible 215 lb Bench, 315 lb Squat, and a heavy 385 lb Deadlift.

A dominant, 3-year Varsity Basketball standout, Gravy knew exactly what was at stake heading into his senior year. He didn't show up this summer to coast—he arrived with a vision. He knew that to completely rule the court this winter, he needed to construct his absolute strongest, fastest, and most durable physical frame.

By attacking the barbell and staying relentless with the programming, he did exactly that. Donte is built for extreme speed and massive horsepower—a lethal combination that adds up to absolute trouble for anyone matching up against him on the hardwood.

He isn't just entering his senior season with more power under the hood; he is walking onto the court with an engine that has been systematically bulletproofed to handle the collision and demands of next-level play. As a next-level recruit, Donte is closing in on making his official decision soon on where he will be taking his talents for his collegiate career. The foundation is laid, the numbers are locked, and Gravy is officially ready for a legendary senior year.

Only here because of the people around me. Thank you to @msmcknights leadership for the opportunity.

Thank you to Coach Kenney @keith_kk_kenney for preparing me for this moment over the last five years. I couldn’t ask for a better mentor to prepare me for the realities of running a program. Thank you for always believing in me and for giving me a path to grow as a coach. I will forever be proud to be a part of @newpaltzbasketball and what we accomplished. Grateful to have been on one of the best coaching staffs in Division III. Coach Wherry, Coach Jagacki, and Coach AK. Love you guys.

Thank you to Coach Tabb @ctabb44 for taking a chance on me, giving me my first college coaching opportunity, and for teaching me how to recruit. You significantly shaped my future and who I am as a coach.

Thank you to all of the student-athletes I have been fortunate enough to coach at @newpaltzbasketball and @wnebasketball . I am only at this point because of you guys and what you accomplished on the court. Thank you for your trust, your dedication, the laughs, and the lifelong bonds.

Finally, thank you to my amazing wife and family. Brooke, you have supported me from the time that this was all still just a dream. To get to experience it now with you and our two little rascals means the absolute world to me.

@msmc.mbb let’s get to work.

Mount Saint Mary College Director of Athletics Samantha Howe has announced the hiring of Mike Duffy as the next Head Coach of the Mount Saint Mary College men’s basketball program.

Duffy becomes the sixth head coach in program history, taking over for Ryan Kadlubowski.

Duffy arrives in Newburgh after spending the last five seasons on the coaching staff at SUNY New Paltz, where he served as the Hawks' lead Assistant Men's Basketball Coach through the 2025-26 season. During his tenure, Duffy played an integral role in helping guide the Hawks to unprecedented success within the SUNYAC Conference.

During the 2024-25 campaign, Duffy helped lead New Paltz to its best SUNYAC regular season finish in program history, as the Hawks secured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament and earned hosting duties for the postseason for the first time ever. Duffy was also instrumental in helping the Hawks produce their winningest season in program history in 2023-24, finishing 20-8 overall while capturing the program's first-ever SUNYAC Championship. New Paltz clinched the conference title with a road upset over nationally fifth-ranked Oswego State.
