Spinning vinyl has become my therapy...annnnd my ministry 🎧

There’s something sacred about pulling a record from its sleeve, feeling the grooves beneath your fingertips, and letting the needle drop. It’s a moment where the noise of the world fades, and the music takes over. For me, DJing is more than just playing records, it’s creating a space where community can thrive, where strangers become family, and where we can all just be.

The funky beats, soulful grooves, and timeless rhythms remind me that joy lives in the present. Watching those in front of the DJ booth move, laugh, and connect under the spell of good music reminds me that community isn’t just built....it’s felt.

Spinning with my brother DJ J. Green was a vibe unmatched. Sharing the decks with someone who gets the music and the missio....there’s no better feeling. Together, we played not just for the crowd but for the spirit of connection, joy, and freedom that comes alive when the music hits just right.

Grateful for the gift of vinyl, the power of funky hits, and the beauty of people showing up as their authentic selves on the dance floor. Here’s to more nights where we let the music guide us and the community hold us.

Do More With Your Travel.

This trip we were able to spend some time giving back to the local communities that we had gotten to know during our time in Bali. Part of the proceeds from our Bali experience goes towards educational programs and rebuilding the local orphanage. Aside from donating,we spent the day volunteering and enjoying the company of the incredible children we were supporting. “Do more with your travel” is all about cultural immersion as we travel, awareness of local and global issues and giving back to the local communities that make your travel experiences amazing.

@msmishagabi 💌 “My trip to Bali was nothing short of life altering. The people of Bali practice reverence in every aspect of daily life. Balinese women prepare offerings made of beautiful flowers and place them at the entrances of their family businesses, their homes, their temple, and other places they know will need a little extra protection as they come and go. Every community is lined with temples, big and small, these structures represent ancestors. Balinese people celebrate the #FullMoon by going to temple for prayers and offerings and every 210 days, Balinese people observe Galungan and Kuningan, a holiday that celebrates the triumph of good over evil. I learned so much about the peaceful and smiling people of Bali while I was there, but I also learned a lot about myself and grew spiritually while I was there. In one week in Bali, I decided to trust myself. I understood #healing in an entirely new way- yes, there will be baths, massages and yoga- but the real work is spiritual and metaphysical, turbulent, yet always balanced. Moving forward, I’m no longer seeking validation from people and things outside of myself. I am no longer trying to be right about my past. Because of Bali, I am free from the aching desire to satisfy my ego by being in control of the outcome. I have a renewed reverence for and curiosity about my ancestors. I am fighting to tame the beast that dwells within me, rather than obsess over the ways of others. You don’t have to travel to far away places to make these shifts. You can step into your life’s balance at anytime. We are never far from truth, never far from purpose, never far from destiny, if we just surrender.” #travelstories
