These three powerhouse filmmakers guide our Teen Directors through the complete filmmaking journey, from developing their stories and preparing for set to production and the final edit. 🎞️ WINTER DUNN | PRE PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR NAACP Image Award winning filmmaker Winter Dunn returns as our Pre Production Supervisor! Based in Los Angeles, Winter’s films have screened at major festivals including SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival. She has been selected for prestigious directing programs including NBCU Launch, Film Independent’s Project Involve, Ryan Murphy’s HALF Initiative, and the SONY Pictures Diverse Directors Program. Her digital directing work for Vanity Fair, Vogue, Architectural Digest, Anonymous Content, Meta, and more has featured talent including Viola Davis, Sarah Paulson, Danai Gurira, Kim Kardashian, and Billie Eilish. 🎥 YHÁ MOURHIA WRIGHT | PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR Award winning filmmaker and producer Yhá Mourhia Wright returns for her 5th year with BGFC and 4th year as Production Supervisor! With more than 15 years of experience, Chassidy made history as the first female Senior Editor for the NBA’s 2020 Bubble season. Her career includes work with Parallax Post LA, and her latest credits include ESPN, ALLEN IV3RSON, and Sinners. Chassidy is also the owner of independent post production company Editbae Post and founder of the community building platform BTS Film Fest Art Basel Miami.

directing for me is always bittersweet because I never truly know when I’ll get the next opportunity to helm a set. Most of the year I’m spending time battling imposter syndrome or questioning how good of a director I am given my at infrequent at bats a year. These last few weeks have shown me a different truth though and put the biggest battery in my back. After spending what felt like a month at Martha’s Vineyard (dump and recap to come 😬), it was healing and affirming to be validated by filmmakers I admire and look up to. I recently took that love and truth and channeled it into this spec commercial I just recently wrapped. So imagine my shock + gratitude to peep my IG in between setups to see this timely acknowledgment from @theblkscript! Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏾 I’m so humbled to be considered and also hyped to share this acknowledgment with a community of old and new friends. Let’s keep going yall! 🙌🏾
