"WE'RE GONNA HAVE A REVOLUTION!”
And this one started behind a microphone.

Before social media, before the internet, there was WBCN!

At the height of the counterculture movement, Boston's legendary WBCN-FM became a powerful voice for a generation, bringing together groundbreaking music, independent journalism, political activism, and the fight for free expression.

Featuring rare footage and recordings of Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Patti Smith, Lou Reed, and more, The Airwaves Belonged to the People: WBCN and the American Revolution brings this remarkable story to the big screen.

A film by Peabody Award-winning director Bill Lichtenstein.

JULY 28, 2026. A FaceTime call no father should ever have to witness. 💔

I am sharing this recording because I believe my children’s safety, their voices, and their right to have a relationship with their father deserve to be taken seriously.

In this recording, my daughter is accused of breaking the rules simply because she wanted to continue communicating with me, her father. What I witnessed left me deeply concerned about how my children are being treated.

Since July 1, I have been fighting to protect my three children and preserve our relationship.

Two requests for temporary orders of protection involving their maternal grandparents have been denied by Judge RIENNE MCELYEA, despite the serious concerns I have raised and blood found in my daughters urine from suspected sexual abuse. Those denials do not erase my concerns or my responsibility to continue seeking answers.

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that there is another option.

Our family has a vacant, fully furnished, four-bedroom home in Belgrade, Montana. My children could be living there with their mother, in a home with room for all three of them, rather than remaining in a living arrangement about which I have repeatedly raised safety concerns.

I am not asking anyone to take allegations as proven facts. I am asking that the evidence be examined, that my children’s safety be independently assessed, and that their voices be heard.

Wanting to speak to your father should never be a reason for a child to be punished.

I love my children. I miss them every day. And I will continue advocating for their safety, their well-being, and their right to be loved without fear.

Please help keep attention on the need for a fair, thorough, and independent examination of these concerns.

A series of recent U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service changes aimed at the Endangered Species Act appear to consider the 1973 law as the keystone to unleashing resource development, according to both federal agency leaders and environmental activists challenging the Trump administration policies in court. In particular, they warn that a rule changing the definition of a single word in the ESA could effectively gut it.

A retiring congressman calls out Montana's entire delegation by service branch and orders them to charge.

Representative Ryan Zinke (MT-1) is leaving Congress in January. But before he goes, he's trying to pass a 430,000-acre public lands bill in the Blackfoot with an unbelievably broad coalition that includes loggers, environmentalists, motorcyclists, and outfitters.

Congressman Zinke and Executive Director of Wild Montana John Todd join Joe Borden to break down the A River Runs Through It Act: what's actually in it, what each side gave up, who's still going to fight it, and whether a bill 20 years in the making can clear Congress in four months.

Watch the full interview: https://www.explorebigsky.com/episodes/arrti

Also: the Muir-vs-Pinchot argument, the river that was too polluted to play itself on film, Griz vs. Cats in a split household, and a Brad Pitt trivia game that goes sideways fast.

What’s at stake? Roughly 130,000 acres of new wilderness, including additions to the Bob Marshall, the Scapegoat and the Mission Mountains, plus Nevada Mountain — the first standalone wilderness designated in Montana since 1983. About 180,000 acres of forest restoration areas near Lincoln and Ovando. New recreation areas, permanent snowmobile access and an OHV loop. Release of roughly 23,000 acres of wilderness study areas.
