It’s been one heck of a flood season here on the Historic Coast. Plenty of tailing redfish, marsh hens, good company, and even better memories made along the way. With only a couple flood cycles left, we’re slowly wrapping up another incredible season in the grass. If you’ve been wanting to experience it for yourself, now’s the time! We have a few remaining dates available, and 2027 flood tide bookings are officially open. Get with us to grab a spot and come see what makes this time of year so special 📸 @mtm_photo HistoricCoastOutfitters.com #HistoricCoastOutfitters #Florida #StAugustine #Fishing #Hunting

5,600 miles. 16 states. 18 days. By my best count, I hugged 60+ people. 2 Cracker Barrels, 1 puppy, and I went from Hilton Gold to Diamond. The rental car is prompting for an oil change. 54 meals, meaning 54 waiters and waitresses. When April 9th happened, I resolved even more to leave nothing on the table. This trip was, at its core, nuts. Just to bond with a puppy? Naw man. This really had nothing to do with the dog and everything to do with the people we’d see along the way. The faces, and necks we’d hug. It was looking for deer, and Pops making friends everywhere he went. It was phone calls with Liss and “donate it back” and talking about dogs we’d had and loved and lost. It was Story Coffee and Mickeys Top Sirloin and Pucketts and Shannon’s and Nutz and the Top. It was driving out of the way for the hug, and thinking “man, is this crazy” and then knowing it wasn’t, it was perfect. We only get one shot at this. And the next time I die, there probably won’t be a do over. So I’m gonna squeeze every single drop out of these moments we get on this rock spinning around the sun. I’m tired. But smiling. My heart is full, my mind is spinning. In the best ways. Life’s far too short, ya’ll. And there’s far too much out there we haven’t seen yet. So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it, you’ve got no reason to be afraid . . . Dyin’s the easy part. This? Really livin’? It’s everything, y’all. Next up: a weekend getaway, and German Christmas markets. Who’s in? Pops isn’t allowed to do this one . . . Plus, he’s not gonna have time during hunting season with all his new friends . . . Lots of reasons not to get in the car. They’re all silly compared to what you’ll find if you do.

There’s not much that could cause me to miss @icastshow But, to protect fishing in Colorado for generations to come, it feels like an excused absence. Sending virtual hugs to all those I see every year at this show. Make sure that, anyone you see with a “CO” on their name tag, you guys are talking to about why this matters. Oh. And swing by the @wildlife.florida booth to learn about the Coastal Corridor and how it matters to every angler in the room! See y’all next year. Have fun! Travis 🫶

“The most important things in life are not what we have but what we leave behind, giving back to nature makes a fella right proud.” - Fox Haas What does it mean to be a “Gamekeeper?” Mossy Oak’s roots in conservation were established well before the birth of the brand—through the local wild turkey and whitetail restoration efforts of Toxey’s father, Fox Haas. The wisdom of his long-term approach to life and wildlife is, and will always be, the most essential part of the lifestyle that Mossy Oak represents. From the age-old profession of the gamekeeper in Europe to the revitalization of North America’s wildlife by hunters, outdoorsmen, and the world’s greatest conservationists, a journey begins the moment one embarks on their first outing, no matter their age. It is a natural progression—starting with the pursuit of firsts, then numbers, transitioning to trophies, sharing experiences with others, and ultimately taking responsibility for a property to make it the best it can be. It all starts with an obsessive love for the land, habitat, and wildlife. Inspired by the wisdom of Mr. Fox and others like him, Gamekeepers provides sportsmen with a unifying identity that aligns with the core values of wildlife and land conservation. For over a decade, Mossy Oak Gamekeepers has empowered conservationists by delivering proven wildlife data, land and freshwater fisheries information, developing innovative wildlife management products, and offering relevant branded merchandise.
