We want to extend a huge thank you to all the attendees, organizations, partners, and members who attended the inaugural Early Childhood Network Convening earlier this week in Helena. It was an incredible day and a half of connection, sharing, and building -- with 102 registrants from 18 counties covering a diverse cross-section of fields within our state's early childhood system.

The power in this network lies in its members and the connections made. It’s a place to find people, share what we know, and make the work lighter by doing it together. Thank you for making this first in-person convening such a success. See you next year!

🎉 And THANK YOU to our sponsors! This event was made possible by generous contributions from: @headwatersmt and W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

How are Oregon nonprofits measuring what matters 📊?

NAO’s latest report, The Practices of Evaluating Impact in Oregon Nonprofits, draws on interviews with 34 nonprofit leaders statewide to explore the strengths, challenges, and opportunities of impact evaluation 📋.

The report is part of a five-state Northwest study conducted in partnership with M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust (@murdocktrust) and Dialogues In Action (@dialoguesinaction). 🤝 Interviews were conducted by NAO and fellow state associations: The Foraker Group in Alaska (@theforakergroup), Montana Nonprofit Association (@mtnonprofit), Nonprofit Association of Washington (@nonprofitwa), and Idaho Nonprofit Center (@idahononprofits).

Learn how nonprofits approach evaluation, where they need support, and what nonprofit leaders, funders, and capacity-builders recommend to move this work forward together 🚀.

Whether you’re refining your approach or figuring out where to start, explore these Oregon-specific insights.

September is Suicide Prevention Month. It is a time to raise awareness, encourage conversation, and remind those around us that connection matters.

At Catalyst for Change, this month holds special significance. Suicide prevention isn’t limited to a single conversation, program, or month. It starts with creating communities where people feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. We encourage you to check in with someone. Start a conversation. Listen. Reach out. Sometimes a simple moment of connection can make a meaningful difference.
You are not alone. You are not forgotten. Leave a light on for hope.

On Friday at 9:00 AM, we're taking the stage together for "AI Killed My Career," a funny, hopeful, and slightly dark talk about watching a beloved career shift shape in real time, and what it taught us about where human work is heading.

We can't wait to bring the conversation on authenticity, human judgment, and AI in the nonprofit sector to CHANGEMAKERS, and to connect with everyone there.

Come say hi!
RSVP for our session on Friday the 18th. There will be swag for early adopters 👯‍♀️

We applaud MNA’s (Montana Nonprofit Association) year-round work and we’re excited to be part of this year’s conference. The Montana Nonprofit Association’s Changemakers Conference is the kind of gathering we enjoy supporting. It highlights people doing real work in their communities.

The conference will bring nonprofit leaders together to learn, share what’s working, and leave with ideas they can actually use.
Join us virtually on September 22, 4–5 PM (Central) as Eddrick presents:

From Passive to Purposeful and Powerful: 5 Shifts That Can Transform and Elevate Any Board

We’ll cover practical shifts that strengthen recruitment, participation, committee function, accountability, and board ownership.

📞 If you’re attending Changemakers, we’d love to see you there. For board development or governance support, reach us at: info@elevatedmomentum.com | 844.333.7425.
