I love when designers and brands make you feel at home on set with thoughtful details like playing your music of choice when you’re in front of the camera (my go-to is typically @britneyspears). For this @eyebobs shoot, when the art director asked me to slowly walk down the staircase, I immediately thought of “She’s All That” and requested “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None The Richer for my descent soundtrack. I joked that my 2026 makeover was putting on the glasses, as opposed to taking them off, like in the beloved 1999 teen flick. You’re welcome, my fellow Millennials.

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been the women I’m getting to know along the way. 💜

This week we got together at @masaandagave at @hotelivympls Ivy, and it was such a wonderful reminder that pageantry is about so much more than crowns and gowns.

We’re all cheering on our current Mrs. Minnesota as she puts the finishing touches on her preparation for the national competition in Las Vegas. Watching her dedication and all the work she’s poured into this journey has been inspiring, and we can’t wait to cheer her on as she represents Minnesota on the national stage.

As for the rest of us, we’re continuing to pour our hearts into our own platforms—serving our communities, sharing our stories, and preparing for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Looking around the table, I realized something. Most of us probably never would have met if it weren’t for pageantry. Yet here we were, encouraging one another, sharing ideas, celebrating each other’s successes, and offering support without hesitation. No competition. No gatekeeping. Just a group of women who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Moments like this are exactly why my platform, You Already Are, means so much to me.

You don’t have to wait for a title to become a leader. You don’t have to earn permission to make a difference. And you don’t become more worthy the day someone places a crown on your head.

Every time you encourage another woman, share your knowledge, open a door, or celebrate someone else’s success, you’re already making an impact. A title simply gives you a bigger opportunity to serve.

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by women who understand that when one of us rises, we all rise together. Here’s to cheering each other on, serving with purpose, and reminding every woman she already has what it takes to make a difference. 💜👑

There are a lot of ways people know me.

Some know me as a makeup artist. Some know me as an educator, author, or speaker. Others know me through my nonprofit work, coaching, or the communities I’ve been blessed to serve.

But at my core, it has always been about one thing:
✨ helping women believe they already are enough.

Whether I’m standing behind a makeup chair, speaking from a stage, writing a book, or volunteering alongside incredible organizations, my mission never changes—to help women show up with confidence, own their voice, and step into the life they were meant to lead.
