In July 2025, I did my first @muaythaidevelopmentleague match against @aeoxis from @travel.train.teach

Right before the match, we talked about all the food we were gunna eat later that day. I ended up eating some humble pie as well. 😅

Always great seeing fellow athletes at MTAAC, MDLs, or at tournaments. I’m always blown away by how supportive this community is across all the different gyms. 🤘🏼

🥊 Technique Tuesday 🥊

A good teep does more than create distance. It creates opportunities! 🔥

Coach @jake_homt from @thehouseofmuaythai breaks down a slick southpaw setup that uses the threat of the teep to open up some devastating combinations. 👊

This is a technique that’s been tested at the highest levels of combat sports, including with @slimreaper_homt

Big thanks to the crew at @thehouseofmuaythaivb for sharing some knowledge with the technician community! 🌎

What’s your favorite way to set up your left hand from southpaw? 👇

Everybody sees the punch that lands. Who catches what made it work? 👀

Breaking down Dante’s fight—watch closely, then tell me: what’s one thing he did well, and one thing you’d change? 🥊👇

Only martial arts couples understand this! 🥊😭
You’re just hanging out, casually drilling a combination in the living room or kitchen, and out of nowhere, things go from 0 to 100 real quick. ⚡️

Suddenly he’s looking at you totally confused, trying to figure out if you’re just locked into your form or if you’re actually mad at him. 🙋‍♀️ Safe to say: I am NEVER angry. It is always him. 😉✨

Putting in the work at the gym, staying consistent with our training, and keeping up with the daily self-care routine is just how we roll. When you dedicate the time and effort to invest in yourself—from the hard rounds on the pads to the post-workout glow and skincare aftercare—you don’t miss a single step.

Tag your training partner (or the partner who always thinks you’re mad during drills) below! 👇🔥

🥊 Muay Thai is for EVERYBODY! 🌎

72 years old and still stepping onto the mats! 👏🏻

One of my favorite things about the WKA Scrimmage League is seeing people from all walks of life get the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a fighter.

These light contact matches make Muay Thai and kickboxing more accessible to people of all ages and experience levels, without the risks associated with full contact competition.

Age is just a number, and it’s never too late to challenge yourself! 💪🏻

If a 72 year old can step onto the mats, what’s stopping you? 👀

Another MDL in the books! This time we had 3 first timers, Allan, Caden, and Sean, while Jordan went for the 2nd time. Gunnar and John held down the fort in the corner. Nice job boys! Can't wait for the next one
