Just announced 📣 Theatre Giovanni are thrilled to present Dead in Here, running from 9 – 12 Sept at Smock Alley as part of @dublinfringefest. Tickets from €14 via the link in our bio. A group of friends escape to a countryside manor for the weekend. They dance. They drink. They fight. They do anything to distract themselves from the absolute state of the world. But something is listening from below. And maybe this play isn’t about a piss-up down the country. Maybe it’s about something darker. Something stranger. Maybe this is someone else’s story. A vital new play about love, death, and the desire to escape reality. 9 – 12 Sept | @smockalleytheatre Patrick Sutton Studio 🎟️ 6 performances only! Grab tickets now at the link in our bio Image credit: @domobrien.art

As a creative producer, what I consume lives in the decisions I make, the risks I take and the stories I believe are worth telling. This is everything I let in last week. Soz, auto caption did a number on this reel and I can’t prioritise fixing it because well pre revenue means at any given moment there’s a pitch deck and an application waiting for me.

Super proud of my sister @laurabradee on her play Adelphi ’63. It will be running for two weeks in Smock Alley later this month. Such a priviledge to be a small part of a very talented creative team including the great @muirennlyons_producing who has really championed this work! If you have an interest in Dublin history, working class stories or The Beatles, you’ll love this! Equally hilarious and heart warming and so well written. Beautiful photography by @zoebirkbeckphotography ------- Dublin, November 1963. Hundreds flock to see JFK in the Phoeno, the city mourns the collapsing tenements, housewives protest the Turnover-Tax and sexism is rife… but never mind all that. Mary Connors has just won two tickets to see The Beatles, THE BLEEDINʼ BEATLES! One catch – Mary’s ma is insisting she brings her cousin Brigid along. The girls set off at odds into a city that’s heaving with Beatlemania. Adelphi ’63 is a fictional celebration of real events – the Beatles only performances in Dublin and the subsequent riot that occurred on Abbey Street. This comedic two-person play journeys back in time to honour the resilience of joy amongst teenagers in 1960s Catholic Ireland. 🪲🪲🪲🪲 Written by Laura Brady Directed by Emma Finegan Produced by Muirenn Lyons Starring Laura Brady and Jessica Dunne Perkins 📅 21/4-3/5 📍@smockalleytheatre
