I can’t say it any more clearly than that.

I struggled to find these words. I’m glad I did.

SOLD • 1938 American Standard 'Fenwick' sink in the Rose Du Barry.

It’s a Vitreous China wall mounted corner sink with the original faucets and mounting brackets. Rose du Barry was one of nine colors in American Standard’s rainbow repertoire, first introduced in 1929.

Overall good salvage condition; it shows normal, but light wear, some scratches & scuffs on the faucets, some tiny pockmarks, and some light calcium & mineral buildup in the bowl.

Salvage Garden's pricing thrives on trust while allowing people to decide where on the pricing spectrum they can comfortably afford to pay. It’s up to the customer to self-assign their price based on where they land on our chart. This is known as the Social Justice Based Sliding Scale or the Green Bottle method.

This sink is located in Detroit, MI and is available for pick up only. Please DM with any questions or inquiries.

I love the transformation of this little 1931 Tudor bathroom from blah present to vibrant past. It’s like traveling in time and it is the new trend in bathroom and kitchen design!

Remember what @rejuvenation was like before they got bought out by William Sonoma? Me too ☹️. Anyways, I always loved their porcelain lighting fixtures and wondered where the vintage designs that influenced them came from. Well, thanks to @fairytaletudor the answer is a company called Efcolite.

Another interesting aspect of their products is that they color matched @american_standard colors to increase sales (no doubt), but to also offer cohesive design as their lighting works well in bathrooms. Image #6 is a page out of their 1938 catalog that calls this out. I have included additional images showing their amazing product offerings in 1938.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a set of Vitreous China wall sconces in the Ming green color, now I just need a new bathroom to use them in 💚

Thanks again to @fairytaletudor, without her calling it out I would have never known the back story here 👏🏻

*For Sale* 1939 set of @american_standard vintage fixtures. Lavatory is the Neolyn model with this wonderful Art Deco design detailing on the sides and front as well as the unique mitered edges in the basin. This is a pretty rare sink as this is the only one I’ve seen. Original faucet set is included.

Toilet is a Master One Piece “Low Boy”. Note the matching Art Deco design detailing on the base. This piece includes the floor mount bolt covers, which is very rare. Both items are in the stunning Royal Copanhagen color, which is a deep Cobalt blue, absolutely stunning. This is the type of fixture that you design a vintage style bathroom around rather than the other way around. Imagine finding this set under your tree on Christmas morning 🤯! Please DM for price and location.

It’s true we do love a vintage floor tile reveal! @fairytaletudor posted about this amazing discovery and recovery of their vintage tile floor and I’m in love. Why anyone would tile over this is beyond me, but I do appreciate the new tile setter for tiling over instead of attempting to remove (they probably knew how difficult that would be). Work continues in this amazing bathroom to bring it back to what we all hope for. Keep up the amazing work @fairytaletudor
