**Mirrored Perception location number 1 is retired**
After several long months of indecision, lease negotiations & a desire for something more, it comes with so much gratitude & optimism that I’m announcing I have officially moved out of the first building my studio @mirrored.perception has occupied for the past 2 years. Come Jan. 2023 I got the keys, & began throwing myself into the chaos of creativity. From there it was officially “open” in May 2023. Since, ive had quite a few amazing guest artists make their way through the doors, friends I’ve known for years, some new, some old, & so many clients than I cannot even count from both in & out of state join the energy to make it what it was. Not one second passes where I don’t appreciate the time that’s been under this (leaking) roof (lol). From the bottom of my heart, thank you. & a special huge loving thank you to my partner @tayyswinn22 who has been here for every step of the process, beginning to end! Extra special shoutout to @hannahdimmitt for photographing my opening, anniversary AND take down! This chapter closing does not mean the end of mirrored perception as a whole, just here! I will miss it, but I’m more excited for the next chapter(s) to come.
Moving forward : I will be located in my own suite in Denton, TX for the time being. I signed a short 6 month lease & have more plans to come after that! Sending all the love in the world to any of you near & far who have supported me. I have enjoyed growing as an artist & person so much the past few years & am enjoying the ride through changes! Perceive with kindness.

Got to tattoo my mom, the sweetest @murphtrav yesterday and this edit got me crying in the club 🥲

My regular clients and friends know how big this is after the summer we had last year. Mom suffered a brain bleed just a few days after a large tumor was removed from her brain stem. What we thought would be an intense, but standard surgery turned into months of in-patient rehab, relearning how to walk, talk, and swallow, followed by months of at home therapy. Almost a year and a LOT of hard work later, I’ve never been more thankful and excited to have her in my chair.

What better way to celebrate than with her favorite cactus grown by her sweet husband 💕 So proud of you, Mom. Can’t wait to see how far you go.
