A little behind the scenes of my artwork & visuals ✍🏼

Dimension in echo (and IVUS) imaging is something I have struggled to figure out since I started illustrating 3-4 years ago. I’ve scrapped more drafts than I can count of failed attempts.

This project request from @mus.echo.cvt challenged me to practice to perfection - and I finally found a method that is both a recognizable echo image but still the Don’t Miss A Beat aesthetic.

I combined the realism shading of the @goodnotes.app pencil tool + the saturated line work I love of animated imagery.

There’s more to add to this project but I am so happy to have found a method that works! Especially because so many of you ask for more echo education 👀

How do I use a study guide for my exam? The RCIS, RCES, CI - ANY exam can have a similar study strategy!

Sort through your resource:
✅What I know.
📝What I know OF but maybe can’t explain well.
📝What I’ve never heard of.

Then fill in the gaps!
Pick one resource.
Bring notes from other resources INTO that resource, in the margins, sticky notes, loose leaf pages.

Have interesting ways to remember the topic? Add it to the margins.
Highlight key terms to help you recall.

So when you go back to review it is all organized / you know exactly what you need to study and avoid getting overwhelmed.

What helps you? ⬇️⬇️
