Blue’s latest role: art critic! 🎨🐾💙 I’m so excited to finally share a project Blue got to be part of—The Rescue Collection! This creative project brought dogs into an art exhibition at @powerhouse_arts in Brooklyn to explore their responses to different artwork and offer a new way to showcase their individual personalities. The message behind it? Rescue dogs are so much more than their past. They each have their own personality, preferences, and quirks—and this project encourages people to see them in a different light. ❤️ I’m so proud Blue got to be part of something with such a meaningful message! Meet Maya, the newest member of our family! 🖤🐾 I first met Maya when she was just a puppy, and when she was old enough, she came to me for training. I never imagined that a few years later, she’d be joining our family. When her family’s circumstances changed, they trusted us to give her a loving home—a responsibility we don’t take lightly. ❤️ We hadn’t planned on adding another dog, but getting to know her again and watching her fit in with our crew made the decision easy. She’s already playing with Walnut, being so gentle with Journey, and settling in alongside Blue. Once my training student, now part of our family. Welcome home, Maya. A little update on Blue 💙 His surgery went smoothly, and he’s home resting and as comfortable as he can be. We’re taking recovery one day at a time, with plenty of soft blankets and cuddles. Your puppy had an accident? Here’s exactly who you should punish… 👀 The responsible adult. Straight to the crate to think about what they’ve done. 😂 In all seriousness, your puppy isn’t having accidents to be “bad,” stubborn, or spiteful. An accident usually means you missed a cue, waited too long to take them outside, weren’t supervising closely enough, or gave them more freedom than they were ready for. Punishing your puppy after the fact won’t teach them where they should go. It may only teach them that going to the bathroom in front of you isn’t safe—so next time, they may hide to do it. Clean it up, adjust the routine, supervise more closely, and reward them when they get it right. Potty training isn’t about punishing mistakes. 2026 NPC NJ State Championships Open Heavyweight 🥇True Novice, 3rd place Novice, and 4th in Open Heavyweight. Earlier this year I began to lose my sense of purpose in and out of the gym. I originally had no plans to touch the stage until 2027, but was scared of losing my grip so I asked Jack if I could pick a show because I knew I desperately needed to work towards something. We entered prep the next day. What started as a bodybuilding prep became something much bigger. Suddenly I had structure and purpose again. Something to wake up and work for. Every early cardio session, every training session, the discipline I developed, it all made me stronger. I found a side of my mind I didn’t know I had, I made a deeper connection with God and my faith, and through it all, learned I was capable of pushing myself much harder than I ever thought possible. That being said, none of this would be possible without those in my circle who kept me grounded and motivated. I want to thank a few people. I ran out of caption space so you guys will each get your own thank you post and message individually. ❤️ My coach Jack @jacked_singleton My friend and mentor @joshuapulice My Soulmate @grace_mccloskeyyy This is just the start of my career but if theres one thing I know, I’m bodybuilding for life. I would do that prep 100 times over. Was it mentally and physically tough at certain points? Absolutely. But I loved every step of the way and made the most out of everything. I look forward to an amazing off season starting today. Lets get huge. One year ago today, we lost Penny. I still miss her every single day. A few weeks ago, Cuddle Clones reached out and offered to send me one of their new Cuddle Clones. I had them make one of Penny, but I couldn’t bring myself to open it right away. Instead, I decided to wait until today. I knew this moment would be emotional, and it was. Seeing her little face again brought back so many memories. No stuffed animal could ever replace her, but having something that captures so many of her little details is incredibly special, and I’m so grateful to have this reminder of my sweet girl. Thank you, Cuddle Clones, for this thoughtful gift and for helping me remember Penny. What a weekend. 💙🐾 This weekend was a milestone for both of us. Saturday, Walnut earned his final qualifying scores in both Novice Jumpers with Weaves and Novice Standard, finishing both novice titles! 🎉 It was also a huge personal milestone for me—I’ve never put an agility title on a dog before. To earn not just one, but two novice titles with Walnut is something I’ll never forget. That meant on Sunday we officially moved up to Open in both classes. Open Jumpers didn’t quite go our way. We had two refusals, so we NQ’d. I think one happened because we disconnected for a moment and he wasn’t sure where I wanted him to go. The weave entry miss, I’m still not sure about. It was disappointing, but I was still incredibly proud that he kept every single bar up and never quit trying. Then came Open Standard. We had one refusal (another handling mistake on my part), but Walnut absolutely nailed the weave poles on the first try, and we came away with a qualifying score in our very first Open Standard run! I couldn’t have been happier. What makes this weekend even more special is that it was a brand-new venue with two rings running at the same time—far bigger, busier, and more distracting than anywhere Walnut has competed before. Watching him stay engaged and work through all of that reminded me that success isn’t just about perfect runs. It’s about growth, teamwork, and learning together. I’m so incredibly proud of Walnut and so grateful to be on this journey with him.
