Say hello! 🎨

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welp…. Mother Nature got in the way of our first #LAU-NYC Jangueo and we were truly heartbroken for this event to be cancelled only minutes before the start. However, nothing like some gratitude, pivoting , and little Donna Summer on a breezy Harlem night couldn’t fix!!! Or at least make the best of it until next time… Grateful to our #LAU-NYC steering committee for steering the momentum and making the best of it!! 🗽🩴🪩

I love standing in front of museum art, but crowded, there’s never enough time to process what’s going on between my eyeballs, heart, and brain. Taking snapshots helps me linger. Among these favorites are Leonora Carrington, Diego Rivera, Olga Costa, Carlos Orozco Romero, Angelina Beloff, and Frida Khalo. I’ve always felt a kinship with Mexican artists and have learned so much from their work, most importantly permission.

Obra: La Herida en Progreso

Técnica: Acrílico sobre soporte mixto + cuchillo intervenido
Año: 2014
Autor: Carlos Escobar
For Sale““ A la Venta“

Just after stumbling upon this handmade ceramic mother & baby, we sat out in the gorgeous courtyard. While catching rays in this serene setting, we happened to have totally startled the artist, Pablo Seminario, himself! What an adventure in @ceramicaseminario
