For Juneteenth week I’ll be offering Chair Yoga for Elders at the @theapexmuseum ✨✨✨

When: June 16th @ 12pm
Where: 135 Auburn Ave NE
Atlanta, GA 30303

The APEX Museum (“African American Panoramic Experience”) is a museum of history presented from the black perspective. It is located on Auburn Avenue in the Sweet Auburn historic district of Atlanta, Georgia. The Apex Museum was founded in 1978 by my friend Mr. Dan Moore.

It is an honor to be apart of their wellness team. The Apex Museum is doing great work for our community and I’m happy to be heavily involved. We are creating access to healing modalities for Black and Brown folks. After all the work starts at the ROOTS.

I’m grateful to serve our elders right here in Atlanta by offering chair yoga.

Chair yoga for seniors is a modified form of yoga that allows seniors to practice traditional poses while sitting or standing with the support of a chair. This modification makes yoga more accessible and gentle for those with limited mobility or balance. It helps improve flexibility, strength, and balance, while promoting relaxation through breath. 🪑🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🏾‍♂️

See you soon and be on the look out for upcoming events and ways to continue this work! LINK IN BIO 💫

Thankfully I have plenty of people that allow my camera do the talking. Having photogenic friends is such a privilege as a photographer. We are always encouraging our people to let us get them in front of our camera , because we know when they do it’s going to be magical

My amazingly talented and dope friend graced me with her presence this past weekend and we had a time! Support her work through @earlyrootsatl , organization focused on not only healing our bodies but strengthening our minds as well. It all starts at the Roots.

Hey friends if you have any ideas or visions you want to see come to life hit my line and message me. Also check out my new website that’s live and direct! (Link in the bio).
