This is how I’ll always remember these two eggs—there was never a time when one twin wasn’t right next to the other. My heart aches at the news I received. If y’all know Soni, then you know he was Vita’s right-hand guy, and Vita was his. Always together. Always looking out for each other. Man, Soni… my heart hurts knowing your life was taken away so selfishly. You were someone who always tried to do the right thing, and knowing that you and Vita were simply trying to be Good Samaritans, only to get caught in someone else’s selfish act, makes this even harder to comprehend. You didn’t deserve that. Vita — fight, little brother! We know you’re stronger than you think. Keep fighting and come back to us. We’re praying so hard for a safe and full recovery. Mum, Dad, and all of us need you here with us. We love you more than words can say. 🤍🙏🏽 Mum, Dad, Mone, Noma, Suila, Tohi Vea, Vita, and Haa—I love you with all of me. Our hearts are with you, and Eric and I are ready to serve wherever and however you need us.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go back home and be surrounded by family and friends and witnessing the little sister get set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. . What a blessing it was to be back home for her farewell, to think almost 10+ years ago Kesa, Noma and I were babysitting these little children is WILD. .
