Last Sunday, @dr.juliehwang and @thewayof_michelle co-hosted an interactive and educational session on how to build a healthy skin from within by using herbal medicines and healing the gut-skin connection. Everyone had such a great time as evident by the amount of engaging questions we got along with the numerous photos they all took when we shared different herbal packs they can easily obtain from local Asian grocery stores such as @tt_supermarket! Michelle also shared nervous system regulation and task prioritization tips that support the business owners in maintaining a calm and grounded center as they go about their busy days. Thank you to our brand sponsors for providing the goodies in our curated wellness boxes: @somabonebroth @suzumatcha.ca @chinteastudio @my_nooci ————————————————————— Our next event is a herbal tea tasting experience with the focus on winter immunity and beauty on Dec 6. Come join @melissatcmp @dr.juliehwang @thewayof_michelle for the last TCM Walk event for the 2026 season! Autumn has a sound, and this Sunday you can hear it 🍂 In Chinese traditions there are five tones, 五音, one for each season. They’re the same five notes the guzheng is tuned to. Autumn’s is 商 (shāng): clear, crisp, like metal ringing. It pairs with the lungs, a season to breathe longer, let go of the old, and make space for what’s new. Join us this Sunday for yin yoga + live guzheng in 商 🎶 by @echosofchina @yixin_wang0923 free samples of @veggiet.global black bean protein and @my_nooci herbal drinks. 🍂 Fall Yin Yoga Concert Sunday October 25, 10 to 11am at @goodcompanyshop.nyc , 2273A Broadway. Slow holds, breath and live music by @echosofchina , with space to release what no longer serves you. The practice guided by @peaceful_veggie_girl is designed for fall and inspired by Chinese medicine, a season for the lungs, for letting go and drawing inwards. The music carries the same intention. Every guest takes home a little love from @veggiet.global and @my_nooci : a Real Black Bean pouch and an Energy + Immunity sample. @veggiet.global began with founder Jina’s grandmother’s misugaru, roasted grains ground into a nourishing Korean tradition, redesigned for busy days. @my_nooci comes from founder Stephanie, who grew up on her grandmother’s herbal tonics and named the brand for new Qi. Two women, two grandmothers, one old idea carried into one day. Bring a cozy layer. Come a few minutes early. RSVP through the link in bio 🌹 #nycwellnessevents #nycyyoga #veggiechi #tcmlivingwell #holisticwellness

I opened my home TCM bubble tea bar!!! 🧋🍵🥥😆 Matcha/green tea in TCM is cooling, and your body doesn’t always want that all the time. So I swapped it for @my_nooci Energy & Immunity herbal mix, a modernized TCM supplement. It still has gyokuro green tea, now balanced with panax ginseng, eleuthero root, white mulberry leaf and turkey tail mushroom. 🌿🍄‍🟫 It feels like the same ritual, just a little warmer. 🧋Today’s menu · 秋日茶铺 💜芋泥抱抱 · Taro Hug Nooci herbal green tea, homemade taro paste (taro, ube, purple potato), sago, lactose-free milk, a spoon of coconut cream 🍎苹安喜乐 · Apple of My Qi Nooci herbal green tea shaken cold, TCM apple-jam(check my previous reel on TCM Apple jam), fresh apple 🥥椰气满满 · Coco Qi Jelly Nooci herbal tea jelly, sago, coconut milk, apple jam One tea, three ways. Which one would you order first?🥰 #TCM #bubbletea #foodtherapy #homemadebubbletea #chinesemedicine

Game changer for my post-workout recovery. 🍵 These @my_nooci energy + immunity boosters have become my go-to after any kind of exercise — a run, a ride, a heavy gym day. They come in individual packs, so I toss one in my bag, my jersey pocket, wherever. Just add to warm or hot water, stir in a little honey, sugar, or milk to taste, and it’s perfect. And yes — it tastes exactly like matcha. 😍 As a medicated food practitioner and student TCM practitioner, I love what’s actually in these packets: 🌿 Ginseng — a top Qi (energy) tonic in TCM. Your Qi gets depleted from exertion, so this helps replenish vital energy and fight fatigue. It’s also an adaptogen that helps your body handle physical stress. 🍄 Turkey Tail Mushroom — supports Wei Qi (your defensive/immune energy) and Spleen function. Intense exercise temporarily suppresses immunity, so this helps rebuild your defenses and absorb nutrients for recovery. 🌱 Eleuthero Root (Siberian Ginseng) — a major Qi tonic for stamina and resilience, without the “heating” effect of stronger ginseng. A classic for exercise recovery. 🍃 White Mulberry Leaf — traditionally used to clear heat and support the Liver, helping your body process all that energy you just burned. The bottom line: this is a Qi-restoration blend. 💧 You sweat out energy and fluids during a workout — in TCM, that depletes both Qi and Yin — and this helps replenish exactly what exertion uses up. Follow me for more on integrating the right foods into your lifestyle. 🙌 We have this one body. This gift called a body. 💗 My mission is to help you understand it so you can take care of it. 💗 🌸To access the starter’s guides: https://thechinesesouplady.com/starters-guide/ This is a generalization of how teas can support TCM concepts for balanced health. This is not a substitute for medical advice or a diagnosis. Always consult your doctor or TCM practitioner first. 💛 #TCM #TraditionalChineseMedicine #FoodAsMedicine #ChineseSoup #TCMNutrition
