Every review is special but to get a review from @hopeflawse was extra special. Hope and I met in @myalignedpurpose (best business coaching group ever) and I had no idea I would be coordinating her best friend’s wedding. She is such a powerhouse in her own business and when I was leaving the wedding she said “what can we do to support you? Can we leave a review?”. She gets it. ❤️

The audacity of raspberries!!

Grocery store prices keep climbing every single month, and nobody bats an eye. So why do we feel so much guilt charging what our work is actually worth?

On the podcast this week, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Nicole Crone of My Aligned Purpose @myalignedpurpose! We get into the real, unfiltered story behind one of the biggest pivots in her business, why raising your prices feels so personal, and the mindset shifts that come with real growth.

We also get into treating your business decisions like data instead of failure, and what it looks like to build a business as a visionary paired with an integrator.
There is so much power in giving yourself permission to charge what you’re worth, even when it feels uncomfortable. 💸

I’ve never felt so seen while reading a book.

Being a small business owner is incredibly rewarding, but it’s also no small feat. There are so many parts of entrepreneurship that people don’t always see—the pressure, the uncertainty, the constant decision-making, and everything that happens behind the scenes.

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to attend the release party for Kayla and Nicole’s book, and I left feeling so inspired that I bought 11 copies. 😂

I know I have so many fellow small business owners in my community who could benefit from their advice, insight, and experiences, so I wanted to make a few copies available at Clove Beauty.

If you’d like one, I have several available at the salon for $18 each. 🤍

Consider it a little dose of “someone else gets it” for your entrepreneurial journey.

How do you find the confidence to raise your prices or make big changes in your business without losing sleep over it? 🫠

That’s exactly what I get into with Nicole Crone, co-host of @myalignedpurpose, on our very first collab together! Nicole is the co-founder of My Aligned Purpose with her business partner Kaila Pilecki, and together they’ve built a coaching business for women entrepreneurs that crossed a million dollars in revenue after making one of the scariest pivots of their business: moving forty-six one-on-one clients into a group coaching program.
We get into the real, unfiltered story behind that pivot and how it grew from there! I also share my own experience raising membership prices and why it feels so personal!

Tune in to hear more about:

🤝🏻 Why Nicole and Kaila moved forty-six one-on-one clients into a group coaching program, and what it took to make it work
📚Treating your business decisions like data, not failure, is the key to trying new things
💡The mindset shift that turns “I’m doing pretty good” into a full “quantum leap”
😎What it looks like to build a business partnership as a visionary and an integrator

I got to sit down IN PERSON with @nicolecrone__ and @kailapilecki_ from @myalignedpurpose to record this episode, and we went exactly where you would expect us to go: money, mindset, and what it actually takes to build a profitable business.

I really loved this conversation because Nicole and Kaila don’t separate the mindset work from the math, and neither do I.

We talked about alllllll the things - what your revenue goals actually require from you, why the numbers on a spreadsheet mean nothing if you’re not willing to take the actions behind them, recurring revenue, getting out of the cycle of trading more time for more money, and why understanding your business metrics matters at every stage of growth.

We also got into their new book (which was published last Friday!) and the Aligned CEO Method they’ve built from years of working with women business owners.

There are so many good takeaways in this one, especially if you want to grow your business without simply adding more hours to your plate.

Comment PODCAST and I’ll send you the episode!

I’m always on a mission to surround myself with the best people - for support, advice, camaraderie, a listening ear, shopping advice, to celebrate the wins and lift us up in the losses.

There are a couple communities I’ve found for either women in business or marketers that I’ve loved and held onto. @myalignedpurpose is already one of those communities. I’m so glad I said yes to joining and sharing my energy with really great souls and people pushing themselves and being badass in business.

Find your people! My biggest business advice right now.

Congrats @kailapilecki_ and @nicolecrone__ on your book launch yesterday and becoming number one best selling authors! I can’t wait to dive into my copy of Aligned CEO Method.

And a shoutout to these three with me in these pictures - my accountability buddies. Love ya 💖💕
