✊🏾 **WE’RE MAKING HISTORY IN LAMBETH. 🌱🖤**

This year, Black Growth CIC has hosted an even t at @myattsfieldspark for the THIRD year in a row.

And we haven’t got here without a fight. Majority of you will know we started on Brixton Station Road and it’s been a challenge to keep these events running for FREE in Lambeth despite the war against gentrification.

Because we believe our communities deserve more than access that comes with a price tag. We deserve spaces where we can gather, celebrate, rest, learn and simply BE without financial barriers.

From the people who show up, to the traders, facilitators, volunteers and partners who bring these spaces to life, this is what community looks like. ❤️‍🔥

We’re proud of what we’ve built, but we know the work doesn’t stop here. We’ll keep pushing for a future where community-led events can thrive, remain accessible and stay rooted in the places they call home.

**Three events. One community. A whole lot of love and a fight worth continuing.**

This is Black Growth. This is community wealth. This is Black joy in action. 🌍✊🏾

💚🌱 THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

Harvest Wellness Festival would be nothing without the PEOPLE who show up and bring the vibes. 🥹

You hula hooped, did yoga, roller skated, drummed, danced with @vibesfm, got stuck into our workshops and activities AND supported our amazing vendors and @blackgrowthcic Market Garden stall. 🥁🛼💃🏾🌿

Basically… you understood the assignment. 😂💚

Together, we also raised £513! 🙌🏾 Every donation helps us keep creating FREE community events like this! Including our next Community Day on 31st October. 🌱

A HUGE thank you to @weliveandbreathe for funding the festival for the second year running. 💚

And once again, the weather SHOWED UP! ☀️😂

So to everyone who came, joined in, purchased, donated, danced or simply spent the day with us…

Thank you for growing with us. 🌱💚

There is honestly nothing I love more than a chat!

Getting to meet people is the best part of trading at markets, and the @blackgrowthuk Harvest Wellness Festival was full of beautiful connections and coversations, and I definitely left inspired in my own journey 💚

For me, living sustainably is a holistic concept; within your limitations trying to balance the food you eat, the products you buy and the companies you support with your money to be most beneficial for your own health and wellbeing, and that of the planet and all the others living on it - and of course these priorities can sometimes clash!

Getting to connect with people and hear about their relationship with sustainability, what they do in their day-to-day lives, what they would like to do more of and what stops them from doing it is what it's all about.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and who bought something too! It's great to be a part of people's journeys ✨️💚

🌱💚 AND THAT’S A WRAP!

Harvest Wellness Festival 2026… you SHOWED UP! 🥹🙌🏾

To everyone who came to eat, shop, dance, learn, play, try something new or simply spend the day with us!

THANK YOU. This is what community looks like. 💚

A huge thank you to our traders, facilitators, creatives and supporters who helped us bring the day to life:

Traders all tagged below

@ajanovaorganic @RoseandHerb @flakiesfashion @health.and.holistics @sincerelynude @plantspaceltd @dear_katiopae @thehiphopfarmers @brotherjoeskitchen @greensoulgrace @dacostajoynaturals 🌱✨

And of course, BIG love to the @blackgrowthcic team and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it happen. 🫶🏾

Every conversation, every purchase, every workshop, every dance, every little one running around the park, all 20k steps we all did individually 😂 it all mattered.

Yesterday was a reminder of exactly why we do this.

More growing. More wellness. More joy. More community. 🌱💚

Until next time…
