Making Memories!

Something happened on a shoot last year. We locked off the camera on a woman sitting at a table. No move. No push. Just her, the light, and thirty seconds of quiet before she spoke.

The agency producer asked if we wanted to add a subtle drift. We said NO.

That frame is the one everyone remembers. Not the crane shot. Not the wide. The still one.

Stillness is not inactivity. It is a decision to trust that what is in the frame is enough.

Berkeley Grand Brown Shingle Beauty in the Heart of Elmwood 3Bed, 2.5Bath 2,376SQFT

OPEN SUNDAY 3/15, 2-4:30
$1,895,000
2962PIEDMONTAVE.COM
Red Oak Realty

Nestled on a secluded street in Berkeley’s beloved Elmwood neighborhood, this grand brown shingle residence blends timeless architectural character with thoughtful modern updates. Just two blocks from the vibrant Ashby and College Avenue corridor, the home offers both tranquility and exceptional convenience.

A charming, fenced front yard with fresh plantings leads to a stately porch featuring a new custom redwood railing (2026) and a pergola gracefully draped in wisteria. Inside, a dramatic entry hall and sweeping staircase set the tone. Pocket doors frame each side of the front hallway, opening to the living and dining rooms, while original stained glass details adorn multiple doors throughout the main level.

Rich hardwood floors run throughout, while exposed beam ceilings anchor the expansive living and dining rooms with warmth and architectural distinction. The extra-long living room is filled with natural light and centered around a classic fireplace. A separate formal dining room showcases original built-in cabinetry and views of the front garden.
