Those of you who know me/have been following along for a while know that this is my top area of interest for my career as a PA. I am ʙᴇʏᴏɴᴅ ecstatic to have the opportunity to learn from an incredible team of cardiac surgery PAs, surgeons, & NPs at one of the nation’s top hospitals. This is my dream rotation y’all and I’m honestly still pinching myself that I’m here! I learned so much today, and cannot wait to see what the next 4 weeks will bring 👩🏻‍⚕️

I CANT BELIEVE IM SCHEDULED FOR THE PANCE! 😱
.
Yesterday I started the process with @nccpa_cert to schedule to take the PANCE exam (physician assistant national certification exam) in December 2020!📚
.
I woke up this morning with confirmation that they received my electronic consent forms and $550 NONREFUNDABLE FEE 💰
.
Next step was to go on to @pearsonstudents to schedule an exam date and time!
.
The best advice I got from you all that I want to share is:
.
These dates are hard to come by and fill up quickly due to covid restrictions!
.
So thankful I got a date and time!!!!
.
but there were literally 2 options in the whole state of Maryland!!
.
.
I cannot believe what I have been working for for my whole life so far is going to be here in December! 😳
.
Now to finish up strong with my rotation and research semester!🤓
.
Graduation is on December 8th and the PANCE is a week after that! 👩🏼‍🎓👩🏼‍💻

Happy Sunday!!!
You may look at this post and realize that I haven’t burned that many calories today and that my rings aren’t fully closed. But, I see that I got up and moved today - even if it was only a 3 mile walk 🌞
Throughout my undergraduate career I would go in and out of phases with working out. I quickly realized though, that my mood, my study performance and my testing performance were all improved if I made the time to workout consistently
Working out has also served to be such an incredible mental break for myself. I no longer use working out just to lose fat or gain muscle. I use it to clear my head and take a break from the world🥰
Maintaining a healthy workout regime is definitely something I am going to try to keep up with throughout PA school
Comment below some workouts that you enjoy doing!!
