There truly aren’t enough words to capture the power of this past weekend. Our final We Hike to Heal Campout + Retreat was everything. Healing, joyful, grounding, expansive—and deeply transformative.

To every single camper who showed up for themselves and each other… to our incredible facilitators who led with such grace, wisdom, and heart… to our volunteers who anchored the space with love… and to our sponsors, especially @REI—who has been with us since the very beginning—thank you. ✨

I witnessed women share their truths, shed their layers, laugh until they cried, and cry until they remembered their strength. I saw pieces of my own story in so many of you. It reminded me how rare and sacred it is to find your people—and to be reminded that we are never alone.

On a personal note… I’m still processing the fact that this chapter is coming to a close. I’m grieving it, honestly. But I’m also walking forward with so much gratitude and so much hope. Because what we created together? It lives on—in us, in our memories, in the ripple we leave behind.

This weekend was a good goodbye. And the beginning of something new. 💫

Simply being, living and loving in the outdoors is an act of pride—and that’s worth celebrating. We asked the co-op LGBTQ+ community, “What does Pride mean to you?” Hear how members, employees and partners like artist and activist Lisa Congdon get outside with Pride. Read more at the link in bio!
