I FKN LOVE YIN
I love melting into my body
I love the moment you feel the tension ease, THE RELEASE
I love that it gets to be a ritual, not just stretching
I love that it’s not about how you look, but moving based on how you FEEL
I love that it’s not about force or pushing harder, but rather softening and surrendering
I love that it’s my little moment of love for my body and ease for my mind
I love that it connects me to myself

It’s so much more than stretching

Pick a calm, chill playlist (tonight mine was Erykah Badu because I just love her vibe atm) {{ or find a session on YouTube}}
Her songs are all like 3-6 minutes long so I hold each shape for the time of a song
USE YOUR BREATH, let it be your anchor, breathe space into tension and slow exhales, softening your belly and you feel your body let go (it’s the best feeling)

Tonights shapes for post leg day:
🤍reclined butterfly 5 min
🤍 caterpillar 6 min
🤍 dragonfly 3 min
🤍 half dragonfly 3 min each side
🤍swan 5 min each side
🤍child’s pose 3 min
🤍 supine twist 3 min each side
🤍 lil self cuddle squeeze and enjoy Savasana as long as you like xx

❤️ don’t forget to use props for comfort and have a little lying rebound after every shape or 2 so your fascia can settle

By the end, expect to feel completely in your body, still in your mind and like you’ve just melted into the floor, in the best way possible 🤍

A little reminder to bring your energy back to you 🫶

Survival mode says “control everything so I can feel safe”
Regulation says “focus on what’s mine and let go of the rest”

Sometimes the reset is just fresh air and sunshine, feeling your feet on the earth, feeling part of & connected to something bigger than yourself, a jaw dropping sunrise or sunset, a hike through a forest, quiet moment sitting at the beach, a chat with a cow xx

Nature pulls me back into stillness, into now
Go outside more, let yourself be here, now, more

Let yourself find wonder and awe and joy in the simplest of things that are right here in front of you

Love you & thank you mama naytch xx

SAVE THIS for your next long haul flight ✈️ or if you’re just bloated 🤰

(If anyone’s got jet lag tips ill take them 🙋‍♀️)

This is the little routine I do when I’m feeling bloated, puffy, sluggish and have that awful travel tummy 😂

It’s just about gentle movement, abdominal compression, circulation, nervous system down regulation and giving digestion a bit more support after hours of sitting

Put on a chill calming playlist and try:

❤️ Child’s pose: 2–3 mins
Gentle compression through the abdomen & slow breathing to help the body shift towards rest and digest

❤️ Sphinx: 2–3 mins
Opens the front body after being folded in a plane seat for hours
In TCM, this area is also associated with stomach & spleen meridian pathways

❤️ Half butterfly fold: 2–3 mins each side
A gentle fold to soften the back body, slow the breath and create that compression/release feeling through the abdomen

❤️ Knees to chest: 1–2 mins
Alternate one knee at a time, then hug both in
Gentle abdominal pressure can feel SO good for bloating and trapped gas (can personally confirm 😂)

❤️ Supine twists: 2–3 mins each side
Brings gentle movement back through the torso and stomach after long periods of sitting

❤️ Legs up & ankle pumps: 3–5 mins
(Do the pumps til it gets spicy then just rest there)
So good after flying for getting the calf muscles working again and supporting circulation from the legs

Then I finish with:

Chamomile tea, a face mask, gentle gua sha around my neck, collarbones & underarms for some extra lymphatic drainage with a movie 😍

The biggest thing for me is keeping everything slow and soft rather than trying to “fix” the bloating

Yin is the best for that, and works deep with connective tissue which becomes dehydrated and stiff after sitting for so long

Movement + breath + hydration + circulation + rest usually does the trick for me 🌙

I just love how every woman’s experience was DIFFERENT

This is Katie’s 🫶 The shift from moving out of the head, with pressure & expectations of herself, to back in her body, connected to herself and what she already knows (beneath the noise of survival mode)

Equipped with the tools to keep moving forward, to keep returning to herself, trusting herself and her own inner guidance 🤍

Clarity, clear, focused and EMPOWERED for her next chapter 😍

Thank you for trusting me in guiding you back to yourself Katie 🫶

I can’t wait to see what more unravels for you during DEVOTED 😍

DEVOTED isn’t another thing to add to your already full plate

It’s about learning how to make that plate feel a little lighter

There’s no perfect morning routine you need to follow
No boxes you need to tick every day
No falling “behind” because life got busy

Life isn’t consistent, our energy isn’t consistent, our needs aren’t consistent

Your devotion might look like 5 minutes of breathing before work one day, a walk without your phone the next, an hour of movement when you have the capacity or simply recognising I actually need to intentionally rest today
Someone else’s might look completely different and that’s the point

Over these 6 weeks, I want to help you understand yourself and your body well enough that you can ask:

What do I need today, what is my body trying to communicate with me and how can I actually give some of that to myself?

You’ll have the practices, tools, support and space to experiment with what helps you feel calmer, more connected, more energised, more present and more like yourself

Not through perfection or pressure, but through devotion 🤍

DEVOTED starts September 7th

If you’re ready to spend 6 weeks learning how to come back to yourself, comment DEVOTED or send me a message and I’ll send you the details x

When I feel like there is a thousand tabs open in my mind, I can’t focus, I feel internally “busy” or find myself procrastinating, BUMBLE BEE BREATHS is where it’s at for me

(Yes I know it looks a bit “weird” 😂 but I know it helps so idgaf)

And most of the time, it only takes a few rounds

Blocking out sensory stimulation through visuals and sound, bringing your awareness inward
The humming & vibration through the body gives the mind something else to focus on (bye bye thoughts)

And I finish feeling “quieter” in the mind, more focused and able to take it one step at a time

Save this next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated or need a reset between work ❤️

**** we live in a world of constant stimulation and demand, what can also help is silencing notifications, spending less time on your phone, taking breaks outside in nature & letting yourself simply “be” without having to “do” xxx

Imagine what 6 weeks of actually being devoted to yourself could change 🤍

feeling calmer
more naturally energised
more focused & present
more emotionally resilient
more connected to your body
more self love
taking better care of yourself
trusting what you need
and actually following through on it

Not through another rigid routine or trying to do everything perfectly
But by learning to listen, respond & keep coming back to yourself

And I’ll be doing it right alongside you 🩷 because this next chapter of my life I will be NEEDING these anchors

DEVOTED starts September 7

comment “DEVOTED” & let’s chat x

Before you tell yourself you’re “too busy” or “have too much on” to slow down I want you to remember that slowing down isn’t about stopping or having to find a chunk of hours to do so🫶

It can look like taking a slower breath when things feel like they’re speeding up
Letting your shoulders drop and your jaw unclench
One meal without distraction
One moment of noticing the sky, a flower, a leaf, a shell, feeling the sun or breeze on your skin

Tiny moments add up, your body just needs reminders that it doesn’t have to stay on high alert all day ❤️

1. You’re questioning things you used to accept as normal

The way you’ve always done things no longer feels like the only way
You’re becoming more curious about what actually feels right for you

2. Things that once triggered you become opportunities to understand yourself

You still get triggered but instead of staying there, you’re becoming more curious than reactive

3. You’re doing things that feel uncomfortable - but EXCITING

You’re saying yes to opportunities
Having harder conversations
Taking up more space

Not because you’re fearless BUT because you’re growing

4. You’re letting go of what no longer fits

Old habits
Old beliefs
Old friendships
Old versions of yourself

It feels uncomfortable, but you know you’ve outgrown them

5. Your world feels bigger

You stop seeing life through fear & scarcity
You become more open to possibility
You notice opportunities you would’ve missed before
You trust yourself enough to explore them

⭐️ Expansion doesn’t always feel exciting
Sometimes it feels uncomfortable, like uncertainty
Sometimes it even feels like grief as you outgrow parts of your old life

But more often than not it feels like becoming more of yourself 🤍

Regulation isn’t about never feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotional

It’s about creating enough space between you and the emotion that you don’t lose yourself in it

Maybe you notice you’re starting to shut down, and instead of judging yourself, you get curious about what your body is trying to protect you from

Maybe you catch yourself snapping at someone you love, and realise it wasn’t really about them at all

Maybe you catch yourself spiralling before it takes over your whole week

Maybe you realise you’ve been pushing through for too long and choose to rest before your body has to make that decision for you

Maybe you notice you’re reaching for your phone, food, alcohol or staying busy because sitting with yourself feels hard

None of those responses make you broken- make you HUMAN

They’re often your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe, but your system can learn new ways now 🫶

Regulation simply gives you more awareness

A little more choice
A little more capacity to pause
A little more space between trigger and reaction

To ask yourself “What do I need right now?”

You’ll still have hard days
You’ll still feel anxious, sad, frustrated, angry or overwhelmed

The difference is that you learn to stay on your own team through it and over time, you don’t lose yourself quite so easily 🤍
