Breakfast, but make it a toastie 🧀🍳🍞
Packed with sausages, bacon, eggs, beans and plenty of Primula Original, this is the ultimate breakfast toastie worth getting out of bed for.

Ingredients:
Primula Original
7-8 rashers of streaky bacon (or more!)
3 sausages
2 eggs
Baked beans
Butter and mayo (for the outside of the bread)
Sauce Shop Brown Sauce
2 slices of Black Sheep Tiger Loaf

Method:
Cook the bacon and sausages according to the packet instructions. We recommend oven cooking for an even cook.

Once cooked, warm the baked beans and stir through a squeeze of brown sauce.

Butter the outside of one slice of bread, then add a small dollop of mayo and spread over the butter. Flip the bread over and add a generous helping of brown sauce.

Layer on the bacon and baked beans then top with a generous amount of Primula Original. Add the sausages, sliced in half. Add another layer of Primula Original, then place the top slice of bread on and give it a gentle press.

Heat a pan over a medium-low heat and add the toastie once hot. Butter and mayo the top slice and cook until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip and cook until the other side is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the heat and fry the eggs in the same pan. Take off the top slice, add the eggs, then replace the top slice and wrap in paper to cut.

Cut down the middle and get stuck in! 🍞🧀🍳

In honour of National Marmite Day this week, we challenged @mysarnie to create the ultimate @marmite toastie. Love it or hate it, this one’s worth a try 🧀🍞

Ingredients:
Primula Original
3 Red Onions
Marmite Crisps
Crispy Onions
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
2 tbsp Honey
1 ½ tbsp Marmite
Butter and Mayo (for outside of the bread)
Butter
Olive Oil
2 slices of black sheep tiger loaf

Method:
Prepare and slice the red onions.

On a medium to low heat melt a decent amount (around 2 tbsp) of butter in a pan
and add a drizzle of olive oil.

Add the sliced onions and stir.

Cook for 12-15 mins stirring regularly.

Whilst they are cooking, crush the crisps and combine with crispy onions.

Add the balsamic, honey and marmite to the onions and stir.

Cook for another 12-15 mins until the onions are soft and sticky.

Butter the outside of a slice of bread then add a small dollop of mayo and spread
over the butter.

Flip the bread and add a layer of Primula Original (be generous!)

Add the marmite caramelised onions then add another layer of Primula Original. Put the top slice on and give it a light press.

Put a pan on medium to low heat and add the sarnie once hot.

Butter and mayo the top slice and cook until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip and cover until the other side is golden brown.

Remove from the heat. Take off the top slice, add the crispy onion and crisp mix, put
the top slice back on and press.

Cut down the middle and get stuck in!

Fish finger toasties just hit differently with Primula

Ingredients:
Primula Original
5 Fish fingers (10 if you want to double up)
Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar Chips
Salt and vinegar @kettlechipsuk le
Butter and Mayo (for outside of the bread)
@sauce_shop Ketchup
2 slices of black sheep tiger loaf

Method:
Cook the fish fingers as per instructions.

Whilst they are cooking, crush the crisps and set aside.

Butter the outside of a slice of bread then add a small dollop of mayo and spread over the butter.

Add 5 fish fingers and top with Primula Original (don’t be shy!)

Add a sprinkle of salt and some vinegar.

Put the top slice on and give it a light press then pan on medium to low heat and add the sarie once hot.

Butter and mayo the top slice and cook until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip and cover until the other side is golden brown. Remove from the heat. Take off the top slice, add the crisps, put the top slice back on and press.

Cut down the middle and get stuck in!

We have been working away behind the scenes this week creating our ‘Build You Own Sarnie Bar’ and testing out lots of flavour combos.

This was one of my favourites!

Very excited about the Billericay Xmas market on the 7th December and especially excited to have @mysarnie popping up on the SK stand with us.

This weekend we have been working on some some really delicious fillings for our homemade focaccia. And will have a limited number available for you guys to buy on the 7th
