Meet Misty (@mzztrzz) • She’s an Oakland-based shoemaker with a deep respect for craft & method, material intelligence, and thoughtful making. A beloved member of the @heirloomleathercraft community, she completed the our full Artisan Training program in 2012.

Her own words: “I joined @heirloomleathercraft as part of the first group of students in 2012 and couldn’t leave. What started as a place to learn about leather became a never ending affair with exceptional craftsmanship & pushing my creativity. Plus a supportive, vibrant community. I am grateful and honored to have worked alongside Bea & Amelie for all these years. It is my happy place.”
