How often do you cross your own boundaries just to keep the peace?

Maybe you say yes when you want to say no.

Maybe you make yourself smaller to avoid conflict.

Maybe you keep giving because asking for what you need feels harder.

Relationships ask us to meet each other, but that doesn’t have to mean abandoning our own needs or boundaries.

With this New Moon in Libra, we’re looking at balance and reciprocity.

Where do you feel truly met?

Where are you giving more than you receive?

Where could you communicate a boundary more clearly?

And which relationships allow you to be fully yourself?

On Wednesday, we gather online with cacao.

We move. We shake. We sing. We share. We journal. We listen.

Not to have all the answers, but to make space for ourselves and each other.

With gratitude, we invite you to a family friendly evening on october 21st 2026 with our friends from the Huni Kuin people of Acre, in the Brazilian Amazon.

The Huni Kuin carry an old prophecy: When the world enters a time of great change and upheaval, the time will come to share their songs, stories and knowledge.

That time is now.

Txana Bane, an ambassador of the Huni Kuin people, has lived and worked alongside western culture for more than twenty years. Together with his wife Kathy Mãkuani and their children, he lives between two worlds, spending part of the year in the rainforest and part in Europe, building bridges between cultures and generations. Through his gentle presence, heartfelt songs and humble way of sharing, he invites people into a space of presence and community. Carrying the wisdom of a living ancestral lineage, he shares the traditions of his people with authenticity and simplicity. For the Huni Kuin, songs are more than music. Their sacred chants hold stories, knowledge and prayer. They are a way of coming closer to nature, to each other and the unseen.

Kathy Mãkuani, a German naturopath, has spent much of her life moving between these worlds. With a grounded and genuine presence, she creates spaces where cultures and traditions can meet. Her voice carries warmth and depth, making room for connection, healing and understanding. Together, Txana and Kathy offer a meeting space where indigenous and western ways, feminine and masculine, tradition and modern life can come together with openness and respect.

Welcome to join us at Konstepidemin ”Gröna rummet” 21st of october 18:00.

The New Moon arrives this Saturday in Libra. 🌙

Libra brings our attention to relationships, balance, reciprocity, harmony and the way we meet each other.

This can be a good moment to notice where life feels balanced, where you may be giving more than you receive, which relationships feel nourishing, and which ones may need a little more honesty or care.

There can also be something around beauty, connection and the kind of relationships we want to create moving forward.

Then on Wednesday, we gather online in circle.

We drink cacao.
We move and shake.
We sing.
We share.
We journal.
We listen.

A few hours to sit with what is coming up and give some space to what you want to call in for this next cycle.

I’m drawn to things where you can still feel the hand that made them.

Handwoven fibres from Borneo.
Leather worked by hand.
Batik.
Ceramics shaped individually.
Natural fabrics with texture and movement.

I love materials that don’t stay perfectly unchanged.

Leather darkens.
Fabric softens.
Surfaces take on marks.
Texture develops into patina.

They become more personal the longer we live with them.

That is part of Sustainable Beauty for me.

Original. Handmade. Natural. Made to age beautifully.

Alumaa was born in Bali.

Our women’s circles grew there. Our friendship and creative collaboration grew there too. Mama Bali has held and inspired so much of what Alumaa became.

So giving back is built into the cacao.

10% of every Alumaa ceremonial cacao block sold goes to Bali Street Mums and the work they do with women and children in Bali.

And now we’re opening Alumaa to affiliates too.

If you feel connected to cacao, women’s community, Bali and what we are creating, you can join us and help bring Alumaa Cacao to more people around the world.

Send us a message if you want to know more. 🤎

Food has always been part of Samadhi.

One of the reasons I opened restaurants was simple: I wanted places where my children and I could eat well.

Somewhere I could bring them after school or on the weekend. Somewhere I could order from when I didn’t have the time or energy to cook, and still know the food was something I felt good about feeding them.

Many of the recipes in the book grew from those years of family life, cooking, gathering and running restaurants in Indonesia.

There are more than 30 vegetarian recipes, including plenty that work for children too, without heavily processed sugar.

The Samadhi Cookbook is really another part of the same philosophy: caring about what we put on our bodies, around our bodies, and into them.

The peak of the lunar cycle is a natural invitation to pause.
It is a moment to wrap up the current chapter rather than jumping straight into something new.

We put together a free guide called "A Simple Full Moon Ritual" for you to use tonight.
It outlines a gentle way to spend the evening - brewing a warm drink, settling into a quiet space, setting an intention, and answering a few specific questions to help you reflect on where you are right now.

Comment the word RITUAL below, and we will send the guide to you.

You don’t have to know anyone.

You don’t have to have been to a women’s circle before.

You don’t have to prepare anything profound to say.

Make yourself a cup of cacao, find a quiet place at home, and join us.

Some women speak a lot.
Some listen more.
Some arrive nervous and leave wondering why they waited so long.

We gather online this Saturday, 26 September.

If you want to join us, send me a message and I’ll send you the details.

Make yourself a cup of cacao and come sit with us.

Our circles are online, so you can join from wherever you are.

Bring your cacao, find a quiet space, light a candle if you want to, and give yourself a little time to arrive.

We’ll gather, listen, share, reflect, and spend a couple of hours with other women without needing to be anywhere else.

Our next Alumaa women’s circle is Saturday 26 September.

If you feel like joining us, send me a message and I’ll send you the details.
